WEEK 7:  Bama For Life hit 6 of the first 7 and coasted on in to win the pool for week 7 followed closely by Lakngulf and WarEagle2010.  Bama For Life and WarEagle2010 are now tied at the top of the overall total points tally but Maddog and Lakngulf remain tied at the top using the Drop Worst 2 formula....it's a jungle out there!  Week 8 now up....

Yesterday should be called Pass Interference Day.  To call or not to call.  Crazy finish to TCU/Baylor, and yes, not called for TCU, called for Baylor.  It is so much like the Charging/Blocking in basketball.  But, if the refs are going to let them play handsy duirng the first part of the game then let it go late in the game.  Hard for them to be consistent on it.

Congrats for Miss State for taking over 1st place in a couple of polls.  They deserve it, and I have never seen a coach so appreciative and emotional as Mullen was on Saturday.  Quite a feat for him to get State where they are, and amazing that the Rebels are right there with them.  Good for them!

...seems that all the football glory has suddenly shifted (for now) just one state westward to schools with similar backgrounds
