Been very busy. Can't think of a better time for the water to be down. I haven't been to the lake but 4 times this summer and that was just to do yard work. Oh well, with the lack of rain, I haven't had to cut much grass.

We actually moved down. So...we decided to sell our house in the worst housing market in 20 yrs and move to the lake........uh...... where's the lake? But it's great to be here.

I'm with you. What has happened to the board? The old tongue-in-cheek humor stuff has been coarsened a bit. Glad to see you back.

I'm green with envy Roswell. Even in my best case scenario, I still have about 8 years left here in prison, I mean Atlanta, before I make the move. Who knows, we may even have water by then. To tell you the truth, I have thoroughly enjoyed the few times I have been down this summer. I just get on my float with a cold one and enjoy the peace and quiet.

Glad to hear you've made the move. From earlier post, I understand you're in the Sandy Creek area? If you have not already done so, get involved with the HOBOs. We can't do anything about droughts, but we certainly plan on getting involved in other important issues concerning the lake.

Welcome to the lake, full time. We need volunteers--when your 'do list' gets boring, give us a call.
