So now we learn he is not only a egotistical, lying, blow hard, racist nut...he is also a deadbeat employer.  The most informative example being the cabinet maker who was never paid the final $83,600 of a $400,000 contracted job for cabinetry at a Trump casino. The Donald claimed, his work was inferior...a few months later Trump asked the same vendor if he was interested in more work at his casino!!  What a sweetheart.  Wonder what MM or any other of you fellows would have to say about being stiffed in such a way by a client?  I would hope you would not vote for such a "business" man!

This guy is an unabashed idiot who will be a train wreck for the country if he ever gets his hands on the throttle!!  Think people, get your heads out of the mud!!  Write in a name or vote Liberterian or just don't vote.  Sure, it will mean Hillary will be elected, but do you honestly in your heart of hearts think she will do more damage in 4 years than Trump?

FCOL, the guy has been in the MAJOR construction business worldwide for decades and this is all you can come up with?  I am not even in the construction business and I have battled with subs numerous times on quality of work, meeting specs, whereby what I paid and what was charged were not the same.  If this was so eggregious, take the corp to court.  It's not as if Trump personally stiffed subs.  If the quality of workmanship and the attention to detail was missing, then good for him for not paying full price.  Do you recall what Bill and Hill did to individuals who were late on their Whitewater payments? Hill stiffed the police by not paying for security at her campaign events.  DOCUMENTED.  Easy to find.

Buzzy, there may be a legit reason to support Trump (I sure can't think of one), but doing so because I dispise him so much is not one of them.

And, CRD, the cabinet maker is just one of dozens who have come forward.  As for bringing suit if you are stiffed by the Trumpster...well put yourself in the place of a small business owner deciding whether or not you can afford to bring a lawsuit against an egotistical billionaire who has made it known he does not like to settle even if it costs him more to take the case to the limit.  Most of us could not afford to risk a half million to gamble on possibly retrieving $83,600!

You have just convinced me that your alias has nothing to do with what you do (did) for a living....you dang sure were not an architect, because if it were, your job would be to protect owners (your boss) from shoddy work, or work not performed to specs.  Do you really think Trump personally oversaw every project, or did he hire an "architect" to do that job?

Amazing as always.  It is obvious Trump is correct when he says even if he went out and shot somebody on 5th Ave nobody would care! He//, you even prefer Hitler to Hillary!

I am a registered architect and have been since passing the registration exam in 1971.  I have never paid a contractor's invoice for a client...that is not an architect's job.  If it is contractually agreed as part of the scope of work, architects do review pay requests and approve if work performed complies with the CD's and the pay requested is in sync for the work preformed.  Yes, it is sometime a fact that payment is witheld until corrections are made.  The situations with Trump is a completely different animal.  His various development intities are simply refusing to pay even for architect and/or designer approved work because they know they can get away with it through intimidation.

Is there anything Trump could do that would offend any of you folks?

The architect's job is to make sure the job is done to spec...as per your rambling post, which means the architect (if he is worth his salt) approves the job before payment.  So you go further and say:

1/   Perhaps you need to take a look at the Standard AIA Agreement between Architect and Owner before you pop off about what an architect does and does not do.  An Architect approves a pay request if the work claimed has been in fact completed as called for on the CD's and to the extent claimed.  The Agreement specifically states that the Architect IS NOT responsible for determining or warranting quality or determining quanities.  In order to do so the architect would have to be on site every hour of every day directly observing each and every concrete pour and the installation of each and every stud!

2/   The reports of small business vendors being stiffed by your hero is from an investigative article in USA Today...not Huff Post!

3/   Examples sited had payment approved by the architect or engineer.  The Trumpster simply refused to make the payment!

Now can I prove these claims to be true...no.  Can you prove they are not...no!  I do put more credibility in a major newspaper's investigative report than anybody poping off on this forum!
