Since Archie is so pleased with the April job numbers my observation is that the sequester must finally be working. Govt jobs down 5,000 and private employment is up. So despite the prognostication of doom by TOTUS (yet another in a long line of lies) it appears that in fact cutting govt spending actually helps the economy so we need more cuts! I am sure Archie will agree. I say we go back to 2008 spending levels and then watch the economy roar back. Thanks for proving my perspective on govt spending to be right!
Or maybe things aren't as good as he claims.......which is it Archie?

Or are you back on vacation?.......or maybe studying up on Latin? What say you? We have the sequester and now you think the jobs report is all sunshine. So why stop there? Lets go to 2008 levels of spending, right?

MM I have stated more than once that the sequester is in fact good...I support it...it gets us started. The sequester and the Super Committee set up to make the actuality of sequester unlikely, was a compromise proposed by Obama when the congress held him and our economy hostage at the end of 2011. It passed only because the GOP members supported it overwhelmingly while the Dems were split. We do need to cut federal spending across the board. Military, entitlement and domestic spending all have considerable fat, but not enough fat. We also need ADDITIONAL revenue just as proposed by Simpson - Bowles (remember them?, You guys love to point out how the president ignored his own commission while conveniently forgetting that commission proposed a 3 to 1 spending cut / tax increase ratio). Our tax policy is slanted to please corporations and the wealthy. With domestic oil production at the highest level in 22 years, could we not at least consider "adjusting" some of the subsidies? Should Wall Streeters making literally hundreds of millions of dollars manipulating money in ways that didn't even exist 25 years ago and which still aren't fully understood, pay capitol gains rather than ordinary income tax the way you and I do? Should we not at least consider capping the amount of tax deductions...are we all OK with allowable deductions being worth 38 cents on the dollar to folks with over $250,000 income but only worth 15 cents to most taxpayers. Is taxing money made through investing (money made using the brain and luck) at less than half the rate of salaried income (money made by your hands and sweat in many cases) the best way to stimulate the economy. Do you join the House Speaker in opposing true overall tax reform just because it presents the opportunity to increase revenue even though it could also make it fairer and simpler...especially if it is tied to specific spending cuts on a 1 to 2 tax to cut ratio as has been proposed by Obama? I you are opposed, would you still be opposed if it were proposed by a man or woman you had voted for?
The jobs numbers reflect what I suspected, the sequester, so for, has been much less devastating than the dire predictions from all sides after the Super Committee failed miserably. Now with the GOP kow-towing to the T party nuts even more than before they had their clock cleaned last November, we will probably have to wait until 2017 to finally clear the deck for action. The T party will likely call the shots for the GOP once more in 2014. 2016 will be a very different story. Beginning in 2017 Hillary can finally get it done!

Maybe I missed that one. Archie, we already have the tax increases to the tune of over a trillion with $80 billion in cuts. I'm waiting for the other $2.92 trillion in cuts. All TOTUS wants is more taxes. God save us if Billary is elected as she will just finish the job Obama has started in destroying our country. She has done such a lousy job in her current position that I can only imagine how bad she would be as president.
But then again, you have low standards for the black guy so why not have the same low standards for a woman? Imagine what a black, female president could get away with?!?!? Boggles the mind!

You seem unable to remember calling me a baby killer. Do you remember agreeing with me that any healthcare reform would have to include some sort of mandate to be successful?
BTW: Talk about "boggling the mind"...read your last sentence in your last post. Now that is the kind of statement that I would have expected out of Alabama 30 years ago!

As for my last sentence, yes you are right. That was Alabama 30 years ago when it was controlled by Democrats that opposed integration and civil rights and today it represents liberals in the modern Democrat party that have replaced that hard bigotry with the soft bigotry of low expectations. Same party, same low opinion of minorities........no wonder you all love abortion, less black and Hispanic babies to take care of, right?
You walked right into that one Archie. Should have gone to bed first.

You are still pi&&ed that the black guy beat your white boy. Suck it up big cause YOUR President is that black guy.

GF, you just can't deal with the reality that you are a fellow traveler with people that make millions in the abortion industry. They love abortions, they love to have those blacks and hispanics come in the door with their money and leave with the life long emotional scar of killing their baby because it wasn't convenient. You can be d@mm sure they love abortions.......just look at the life and times of Gosnell (I can't call him a doctor). You need to learn to deal with your fellow travelers in the abortion mill industry. And remember, your beloved messiah TOTUS said g_d bless the abortion industry icon Planned Parenthood. That is true love and devotion, albeit in the most disgusting and sickening blasphemous way.

This post is not worthy of you MM...sounds more like Wixie or Hobb Knob.
As for Alabama democrats 30 years ago. Check it out MM. The southern racist democrats began switching to the Republicans in the 60's and 70's. The transition is now complete in most southern states. It came to full fruition in GA in 2002 with the election of former Democrat turned Republican Sonny Perdue and the party switch of 3 state senators who had just been re-elected as Democrats. Noble folks those "Republicans" (in poetic justice all of them were defeated in the next election). Do you actually think Ross Barnett or Lester Maddox or George Wallace would be running as Democrats today? If you do you really have lost it.

Archie, it was you parents that were the Democrat racist rednecks, not mine. Dems controlled the south 30 years ago. Southerners opposed to racism and supportive of civil rights indeed left the Dem party 30 years ago after they saw the Republican Party support the end of racism. Now what is left are the soft bigots that expect so little out of minorities and try to have them abort their "parasitic" babies. But since then Dems have destroyed the black family and convinced them they need to stay on the plantation where massah gives them what they need in the form of government handouts. I prefer to give them a hand up, not a handout. But then again, I also believe they were created as my equal and should have equal opportunity and nit the equal outcome of misery promised by bigoted left wing nuts.
Sorry Archie, but I came from the north where we always believed all men are created equal. Don't believe in your soft bigotry.

I wouldn't even believe what he wrote about her except maybe the cum laud thing, whatever that means. He is like most left wing nuts. As long as things work out for him and his kinfolk why worry about the minorities as long as they stay on the plantation and vote Democrat. Every once in a while they'll let one like Obama get out of the ghetto as long as they say and do the right things. Give em a little affirmative action, let a few into Harvard, keep em toeing the line and stirring up the folks down home to hate them conservatives and it will be OK. Remember what Slick Willie said, 20 years ago and Obama would be serving him coffee. That is the bigotry of the left.

It's kind of sick to brag about your daughter doing well coming from a failed school system that leaves minorities with a lifetime of misery, unemployment, underemployment, etc. Sort of like Marie Antoinette telling the starving Frogs, "Let them eat cake". Great for you and your daughter and as long as it worked out for you and her screw the rest of them....but then again, we do have to deal with the soft bigotry of low expectations........

If you consider what I wrote as a rant you have a very low threshold. I'll let you know when I am actually ranting because like sarcasm and irony, some have trouble recognizing it, especially if educated (and I use that term loosely) by the govt school system. Besides, why should I apologize for saying something that is true?!?!? Now if I made things up that would be a different matter.
By the way, glad your surgery went well but I assume it was performed by a doctor that does not work for the state and paid for mostly by an insurance company provided by your employer and not the government. Then again, maybe you are like a lot of people and are falsely getting govt benefits or have you retired or maybe joined the 11 million now on disability?
