Have any idea who is selling the 223+ acres on the corner of Bywater?  My fear is that someone will buy it and clear cut it.  I hate clear cutting.

Bywater intersects 20 at two locations.  Is the property at the first or second (having the Bolton Cove sign) intersection?

From what I have seen (such as the area on the left of 20 roughly across from the cemetery) clear cuts regrow pretty quickly with gum trees.  Not my favorite but at least it isn't bare ground. 

I was there for the weekend, returning yesterday afternoon, but missed the For Sale signs.

I want to say it is on the first Bywater.  The sign is about 5 feet from the corner.  There is another one across the street further down, but I think it refers to the same acreage.  My coonhounds want me to buy it because they say they need fresh hunting ground.  LOL.  Yes, it does grow back quickly when they clear cut it, but it ends up being a bushy undergrown rather an mature trees.  At least when AL Power cut, they did leave a few groves of trees and a good sized treed barrier on the road frontage  I don't think it will happen in our lifetime, but I can foresee a future when even the property not directly on the lake will be developed.

Well, it is like I tell my younger work colleagues:  The only constant is change, there is very little you can do to influence it, it won't go back the way it was, and just make the best of the new reality.  I think that observation applies especially to real etate development.  A persistent developer will eventually outlast those opposing his or her development and it will become reality.  

BTW, the first Bywater (heading toward the water) is at the bottom of a hill.  The second is at the top of a hill, with the coosa 20 intersection with Glass Point Drive between the two.
