Harrison is the man. Been using him for years. Swap between Dish and direct every so often to get better deals.

Did just that. We can use all the streaming services and use either a laptop or smart tv to get all but the local channels. We are on the other side of the lake and surrounded by hills else would try to use an amplified antenna to bring in the locals. Bill went from $185 to $75/month.

I havent tried it yet but I understand that there is an app called Pluto that allows you to watch local channels on it for free.

I agree the antenna will not work where we are. But I have one at the farm and one in an attic in opelika. Rooster if you are on a hill you might have luck. It is amazing the clarity over the air. I will send info on antennas and websites if interested.
Hodja what service do you have in Montgomery. WTVE.net might be way to watch Montgomery at lake and country. I watch my Troy cable at farm and opelika.

My objective is too watch football on deck with wireless connection. I have downloaded the spectrum app and can watch anything on phone but want to watch on tv. I did cut cable in Mtg and got flat antenna that worked great, but not sure in Manoy Creek. Have a lot of trees

There are options to throw laptop games to a smart TV. And some smart TVs have an internet browser. Samsung yes. Vizio no. Ask me how I know. Roku stick no.
Should be able to throw phone to smart tv.
The function is cast. I use it to put espn on the vizio. Anything I can get on laptop can be "cast" to tv

You need Spectrum cable to watch the Spectrum app. I have cable and internet with Spectrum and one box for the main TV. When I want to watch a game outside, I connect the Apple Air via a HDMI cable to the TV and watch the game on the second TV.

I have Spectrum tv cable currently. I can hook up my iPhone to my main Sony tv via adapter and hdmi cable and every app on phone works on tv but spectrum. It tells me channel not available try later. I bought a google chrome cast the other day but haven't tried it yet. I downloaded Hgtv app directly to phone and even that works when I hook up as stated. There has to be a better way and cheaper. Next time in Montg I will own a Samsung smart tv.

Spectrum in Monkeytown. I log into that account on a laptop at the lake and can (or at least first time I tried it COULD) get WSFA but none of the other MGM stations. Can get most of the cable channels. Have a laptop that I dropped aone time nd ruined the screen so I use it to get the Spectrum app and send the signal via a HDMI cable from pooter to TV.
Just checked WTVE and of the scads of providers, Spectrum isn't on the list :-(

Another item of interest. I have found the Roku stick and Roku ultra to be easier to use than some smart TVs. Even put one on my smart tv. Does good job getting all in one place.
But I could not figure how to watch cable thru Roku. So I went to my friend DDG. There it was. First youtube dealt with Spectrun and their App. No interest to me but might help Hodja.
And then one youtube talked about XTVIPTV on Roku. I am still working out kinks but it seems to be a winner. Still some stations do not cooperate. I am still Learning
