Is the full pool of 510 ft. listed on this site a measurement above sea level?

Thank you, Mike. I thought that it was, I didn't Smith Lake as being 510 ft deep.
|
How deep is Smith Lake? As most Alabama anglers know, deeper than any other reservoir in Alabama, like 300 feet deep! At 21,200 surface acres of water (at full pool) and over 500 miles of shoreline. Loading the truck right now. Cant wait to put my feet in.

Yep, it's deep. I have found a hole down from my place at 420 feet. Many spots more than 250. Under my boathouse is 140 feet.
Swimming last week, water temp a chilly 73.

Mike, had no idea there were holes of that depth. Big wow. Thanks for letting us(me) know.
