Hey stripernut, I know that would get your attention. I read your report from the 14th...do you think the fish have moved far enough into the shoals to get out of the boat and walk up farther and cast?

I know several guys that get on the rocks and cast - they have good success. The best plug seems to be a big gray or pearl colored redfin. Good luck.

That sounds like a good idea since I don't want to run my Stump Jumper the 35 or so more miles to the shoals, can't tow it there, and can't afford to rig the boat with the right equipment like planer boards anyway. Now, where can you park to walk to the shoals?

Checked out Jay Bird landing last week.. It's just 9 iron distance below the shoales, 11 miles from dadeville, has plenty of water and the ramp looks good.
