Thanks for the info. I would like to think that I could make it there. Where abouts is the property located?

216 Harrison Road

Pass Chuck's Marina, through the "S" curve. Left on Harrison to its termination. Harrison Road literally terminates into my driveway. There will be a "No Trespassing" sign at the head of the driveway, but it is possted by my neighbor for all his boats and things in his vacant lot.

see the below links for more info on this auction, including a copy of the legal notice, maps, and pictures of the property that I took a couple of years ago.

Please note I am not affiliated with the home or auction or owners in any way. I am making no statements or opinions whatsoever about the property. Buyers beware. Do your own due diligence.

I do think it's a nice cabin and lot, though. Check it out.

Be very interested what it sales for. I went to an auction last year for a 2BR / 1B cabin in the Sturdivant Creek area. Bidding started at $159k and 20 seconds later it sold for $285k, which was about $85k more than it was actually worth. The bidding went so fast I never even had a chance to hold up my bidding card. Since this was through an auction company, the buyer had to pay and additional $15k, bringing the total to $300k.

I heard about that one. I guess some people think just becasue it is an auction that they are getting a deal.

This one is the result of two owners of the property wanting to sell and suing the third owner (who does not want to sell) to force a sale by division.
