Our President finally got around to stating that masks help decrease the spread of coronavirus.

He is shameless enough to claim he has never been against masks which we all clearly know is an untrue statement. He has a severe personality disorder which allows him to do this. 

He has, however, left Martini and his sycophants out on a limb having defended this position with worthless factoids for the past 4-5 mos. MM has called world experts "stupid". Heck, he may have even implied that I might also fit that description. Martini will not be able to shamelessly do a 180 degree turn like Trump has done, however. He will try to hold on and say Trump just finally gave into political correctness.

Why do I care? Because Martinis' voluminous postings are dangerous to the well being of others who might be influenced by his uninformed review of issues he only thinks he understands.

Welcome to the team!  Glad to have your undying support for the President.  Funny thing, you have never agreed with anything he has ever said but now suddenly you are a mindless Trump sycophant.  News flash dude, the President is wrong about masks.  The science is there for anyone to see. 

But I get why he has decided to do so.  There's no upside for anyone in govt to follow the science with regard to masks. I get that.  They won't help but it gives the appearance of doing something.  Mask usage has never been more prevelant and yet we have spikes in cases.  Ergo, masks are useless.  But hey, I strongly encourage you to wear one 24/7.....wear it to bed, in the shower, driving around in your car by yourself, wear them all day every day.  That way you'll be "protected" against those of us that understand the science.

   Just before the 2016 election when we all knew Hilary had it made "Progressive" (What a misnomer that is ) called into Rush and said, "One more judge and we have wone!" They have been plotting, planning and infiltrating for a real coup de tat for some time and a completeltake over our government. And Trump wone! His reversal of all their infiltration and regulations and it's success it caused them to panic and they pulled out all the stops too early. 

   They tried everything, to overthrow a president, collusion, impeachment, a aresting everybody around Trump. Nothing worked. 

   Now for the first time in history a healthy population is quarantined for a virus that has a much lower death rate than the flu! Now there is a high death rate in nursing homes but did you ever know anyone to get out of one of those alive? Now, in some places, every test is positive. In fact a friend of mine was talking to the coroner of a large city who said that he had 35 autopsies last month. He said he was pressured to list the cause of death as the virus EVEN THE ONES FULL OF BULLET HOLES! 

    Say what you will but the progressives and their allies are waging germ warefair against our president to destroy the great econemy his policies caused! Progressives (?) are a very dangerous cabal to our country!

Wear your damn masks for crying out loud.  MM and Major presented to you science.  You can choose to believe it or not.  They (the masks) will not protect you, and if you feel so inclined to show others that you are conscientious and follow orders, then wear them in your car when you are driving by yourself.  Wear them when you are by yourself on a brisk walk.  Wear them when you sleep.  Wear them when you play pickle ball.  Wear them when you are at the driving range by yourself.   Wear them on the beach with the wind blowing and no one within 50 feet of you.  Get a bumper sticker that says I break for mask wearers.  Is there anything that consumes you two more than masks?

On another note, 14 people get shot in Chicago simultaneously as the Mayor tweets that she doesn't want feds in her city.  For the first time in forever, I just happen to tap into CNN to see how they cover it.  Imagine my shock that there is nary a mention of this on their headline page. (Shocked I tell you, just shocked)  I am glad you all come to this forum to get your news, because you get very little of it from the MSM.  Do you two consider this not newsworthy?

One other little factoid you conveniently omitted is your beloved President said to wear a mask when social distancing is not possible.  I can dig that as I practice it religiously and therefore would never have to wear a mask.....unless I decide to join a BLM/Antifa fascist marxist protest....on second thought, according to the "experts" the virus is totally ineffective in mass protests like this so I will only need it to attend a Trump rally or to go to mass....which I do anyway if they require it.

To start with you CAN have the virus without ever having any symptoms and it can be spread even if you do not have symptoms...what kind of doctor are you for pity sake?  You are still talking about protecting yourself.  Fine, seal yourself in an abandoned fallout shelter if you want to!  I’m talking about protecting others.  To get this under control we have to stop or at least slow the spread. The easiest, most reasonably effective, inexpensive and efficient way of doing that is stopping those who are infected but don’t know it from spreading it to others that are not infected.  That is what the mask does!  It is certainly not 100% but it is helpful!  To be sure we also need testing to identify those infected, isolating them for 14 days and then tracing all the persons the infected case can remember being in contact with then testing them and if positive isolation and further contact tracing.  Testing, quarantining, and contact tracing are effective (or at least would be if it weren’t taking up to 2 weeks to get results) but they are time consuming, expensive and, due to the delays we don’t seem to be able to overcome, far from highly effective.  Until we get basically universal cheap immediate result hopefully in home testing, masks are cheap, simple, and effective in slowing the spread according to every medical expert that is not in the tank with the rightwing conspiracy machine!
