An American citizen who was known for his dishonesty and cheating while in a public professional coaching role.  He was not worthy of the honor in the first place and his refusing it allows him to avoid the public ridicule.  His decision was made for his own personal reasons, even though the MSM will make it about Trump.  Sad.

Do you see a common thread here?  Anyone that does or says anything negative about Trump is his definition of a patriotic American and anyone that refuses to play that game is an insurrectionist, has to be censured and sent to reeducation camps so they can get their minds right?  This is symptomatic of the left's TDS and why I am becoming ever more convinced that we are headed toward a civil war in the country.  You can't expect half the population to sit back idly and be treated like this.  And what is even more sad is that they literally do not recoginize that what they are doing today is what all despots do whether they are fascists or communists.  It is always done this way and these ideologies always resort to tyranny because their ideas are so bad that they can't compete on an intellectual basis.  So they have to silence opposition, at first passively and then when that doesn't work they always resort to force.....always.

The short answer to your question is yes, they do.  As far as Limbaugh is concerned, I would place him right up there with past recipient Oprah Winfrey as far as broadcasters (radio and TV), authors, philanthropists, are concerned.  They both are giants in their fields.  As far as Nunes and Jim Jordan, just as deserving as Gloria Estefan.

That I can't answer Fish.   When I compare past coaching and athlete recipients such as Dean Smith, Roberto Clemente, Lou Holtz, Pat Summitt, Arnold Palmer, Arthur Ashe, to me these individuals set the standard.  Belechick, while accomplished, falls well short of that standard in my book. Trump got some bad advice with that one.

If your "hero" selects such worthy recepients as Limbaugh, Nunez and Jordan to honor why did he also see fit to select such a "dishonest cheat" like Belichick to receive the same honor?  Face it CRD, if the coach had accepted the medal and heaped praise on your "hero" you would have considered him akin to Jesus Christ in his greatness!

I think most people would be puzzled that morally Mr Belichick falls short of your "standards" but Donald John Trump not only meets your standards but qualifies as a "here".  That doesn't pass either the smell test or the lie detector test.

Paragraph 2...I don't have a particularly strong opinion either way on the Electoral College but would ask How is it fairer for a resident of WY to have 4 times the presidental voting strength as a resident of CA than for every vote in every state have the same strength? Along the same line, is it fair that the 50 GOP senators represent only 41% of the people.  Yeah yeah l know it is what is in the Constitution...I'm not asking if it's constitutional, I'm asking if it is fair.

Lifer is correct, one ''endorses'' an action or opinion, one ''indorses'' a check or document.  I recently turned 77.  I did not say I was part of a small architectural practice, I said I was a sole practitioner and part of a shared office space which includes 3 other sole architectural practitioners...I still am.  I said I was at a point that I only take commissioners that has appeal to me (semi-retired??...you tell me).  I go into the office when it pleases me to do so and it typically does please me most days because I like the work I do and the 3 people I share my space with...very proud that between the 4 of us and our immediate families we produced 14 votes for Biden and the same for Ossoff and Warnock, zero votes for Trump, Perdue and Loeffler!  Just wish my granddaughter was 9 months older so she could have voted to make it 15!
