"Tallapoosa County has the second highest confirmed COVID-19 case rate per capita in the state, according to the Alabama Department of Public Health."

We will get back to work but be patient.

STAY SAFE

If you ever had it.  Ask the nurse for a sedative

What is your problem with what I posted? Just to let everyone know the truth and to be careful.

At first I thought, really?  But ok, so you post with AlL CAPS, when you know damn well that life is relative.  Alabama has the lowest numbers as any state but we are at 12% unemployment and that is lower than the real numbers due to a computer system at Alabama Department of Labor which still uses old technology.  And nobody seems concerned about the ravages that unemployment has on poverty, violence at home, food security for the kids or suicides!

so everyone who doesn't live at the lake see your post and think we are COVID 19 cesspool.  That is not true.  You count positives on one hand or two.  Are you working for the fake news?

And what percentage of those are from the VA Facility?  Figures lie and liars figure.

GF is right.  Tallapoosa is the highest and it continues to grow.  It's not just the VA home.  This is not surprising, considering the number of people strutting around Alex City without masks and not social distancing.  I was in W-D yesterday and very few customers and non of the store employees were wearing masks.  The store looked like a plague of locusts had attacked it.  I don't know why people are not taking this seriously.  But right now, we ARE a cesspole of germs.

That's not unique to Tallapoosa.   I think you just described every W-D (and Walmart, and ...)  in the state..  I've driven by the Lowes near the house (Jefferson county), and at the lake house (Cullman) and there's not a parking spot to be had..  If the instances there are  higher, it's not because everyone else is doing better at social distancing.

The numbers are skewed by having two facillities that the virus has run ramant in.
