  Becks turf farm in Tuskegee has about any kind of grass you would want. It is actually about in the middle between auburn and Tuskegee but has Tuskegee address. I just purchased a pallette a few weeks ago. Call one day and it will be ready the next morning, assuming have some ready to cut but they will let you know when you call if it is jot and when it will be. They are not far off hwy 14 I think it is.

Thanks!  So you were happy with the quality of the sod?  I bought some last year from harpersville only to find out it had a green plastic mesh which when racked pulled the whole piece up in the fall. Thanks!  Got an sprinkler system installed so this time should prosper.

  Yes, I am quite pleased. I purchased it for a widow across the slough I help out from time to time. I got Bermuda because it was the cheapest with the largest coverage area and I was just filling in a path that eroded from a landscaping failure at the top of the hill and washed out all the way down. I watered it for her the first few days but she twisted her knee about the same time and couldn't drag the hose around so the watering over the first two weeks was spotty because I couldn't do it every day either. At one point I was worried about it but now every square is lush and green.
