This website showed water level at 481.86 at 5:30 when I got up and still shows that level now BUT the water has risen a foot or more since then and is still rising.

Emptied the rain gague early evening when it was full at 5 inches.  This morning it had 3 more inches in it.  THAT'S A LOT OF RAIN

Haven't noticed any increase in the lake level so you must be on the lower end of the lake

So far about 3ft, and still rising...lol. Seriously it is like watching a bathtub fill right now. It looks to be close to 583 again already. I wonder how many gates are open. Lotsa water downs south already.

Nope. In Manoy Creek. Backup can account for a few inches, but not 2.5 - 3ft. You may want to look a little closer.

I wonder if they will take the water back down after all of the rain goes away or if they will just leave it. We were going up after Christmas to do some work and patch some of the sea wall.

Here are my daily rain readings for the last five days.

12/21 = .85, 12/22 = .70, 12/23 = 1.41, 12/24 = 3.08, 12/25 = 2.44, a total of 8.48 inches of rain and during that time the lake is up 4 feet. Add the rain north of us yesterday and last night and it could go up higher depends on how much they release downstream.
