We will find out soon with his appointment to replace the liberal Lautenberg. If he is a true conservative he will appoint a conservative. If he is really a RINO he will give the double talk newspeak and appoint another liberal democrat and feed us the line of bravo sierra about maintaining the balance, giving the citizens what they voted for, right thing to do, yada yada, yada. If he takes the latter route his presidential hopes on the GOP ticket are over IMHO.

Just saw on the news today that Dems are loading him up with campaign cash. So now you have the answer for how to get their support.....abandon all your principles and act just like them. Works every time.......

TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie is cashing in donations from top Democratic fundraisers and other traditionally liberal donors across the country, even nabbing the support of a handful of rainmakers aligned with President Obama and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a Star-Ledger review of state and federal records shows. The checks are flying into the Republican governor’s war chest from all sorts of unlikely places — the hedge fund run by liberal billionaire George Soros, for example, and the politically progressive halls of the University of California, Berkeley. The nascent support from Democratic donors is an early sign of Christie’s fundraising prowess in a potential run for the White House in 2016, experts and Democratic donors said, and dovetails with recent polls showing him gaining popularity nationally among Democrats and independents.

I have been saying this for a while and even posted about the Dems sending him big bucks........ this is old news and not particularly interesting. Christie will not be the GOP nominee regardless of how many Dems send him money. At the end of the day, why would they pick half a loaf with a RINO when they can have the full monty of big government, European-style socialism with the [fill in the blank] Democrat nominee? The answer is they will not.
The only national electoral success we have had has been with candidates that are not squishy like Dole, GHW Bush, McCain, Romney, etc.
