To be represented by the likes of Hank Johnson. This is the genious that when questioning the Admiral in charge of the Pacific Theater stated he was concerned that an additionl 8000 troops on the ISLAND of Guam might cause it to 'tip over and capsize'.
And this idiot makes 174K a year, plus benifits, and staff salaries.
And for Hound, I heard it on the radio. The staement was made March 25 in Armed Service Committee meeting. I am sure if you google it, you can find it. I ain't doing it for you.

Just for you hound. I KNOW how you like for sources to be included. You can see it straight from the idiots mouth,

Well thanks for changing your mind and sharing the video. I can understand his point for a a large number of people concentrated in a small area can have a dramatic effect. As an example, if you attended the Alan Jackson concert at the lake last year, you could feel the temperature of the water gradually increase from the large number of people standing there drinking beer all afternoon.
Now, do you really believe he meant that the island was literally going to disappear into the ocean, or as the Admiral stated, the population of Guam could absorb the additional Marines and their families? It is certainly an amusing hearing and something that is rather earth shattering.
I closed my eyes and I could hear "Vice President Palin" asking a similar question and i would have been the first to post. I can't fault you for pointing it out. So, thanks again.

First, you have to realize that Hank Johnson has hepatitis c which has ravaged his health and definitely impacted his mental acuity. He was diagnosed with it in 1998.
Second and more importantly, he replaced Cynthia McKinney so his musings about Guam capsizing seems downright lucid when compared to some of the things she used to regularly say.

for starting my morning with a laugh. Actually ROFL.... Do you think this guy is on drugs????
I had to give the Admiral a lot of credit for staying so serious... I don't think I could have kept a straight face.

Something is definitely eating his brain. I'd say either alcohol or drugs... Maybe that district has a sense of humor and is thumbing it's nose at the political process, if they elected McKinny and this fool.

I heard his 'spokesman' on the radio trying to pass it off as sarcasm and his 'dry sense of humor'. If you watched the video you can plainly see it is is neither!! If it is disease that is eating his brain then he needs to step down and let someone lucid take the seat. Being sick os one thing, being sick and and so out of it, yet retaining the seat of power is outright despicable.
All of today's politicians are drunk with power. It is time for a good 'house' cleaning.
