All these Democrats coming out of the woodwork to run.  Understand that Democrats are telling the CEO of Starbucks, Schutz, not to run as an Independent, which could suck votes off of the freebie Democrats.  For a Washington State guy, he is surprisingly moderate. No freebies on his lips.  

Given everyone who claims to be running, it wouldn't surprise me to see AOC throw her hat in (if she is old enough) given all the free publicity she gets from the liberal media.  I notice that Kamala Harris is getting a lot of buzz from the media.  Anyone who "graduates" from Howard University is suspect to me - I've had to deal with many Howard graduates while I was working in Washington and I hve never had one that seemed to be able to write or communicate as a professional.

One of my most trusted colleagues is a Howard graduate, but she is an unusually smart and gifted young lady who immigrated from Kenya when she was 12 or 13 as a result of a regime change and her father's request for asylum.  He was in their equivalent of the CIA and persona non grata with the new regime.  She still speaks with a British accent, lol.

i have no other experience with Howard graduates but don't doubt yours.

I would lay that at the feet of her being from Africa.  Surprisingly, I've known a lot of Africans over the years and they seem to take their opportuniies and education very seriously.  

I had an AF Major (for example) that graduated with a desgree in Engineering.  Dumb as dirt (I think the reason he ended up as a major must have been as a result of some quotas).  His first day in the office, he posted some kind of Black Poodle poster in his cube. You know how guys in uniform usually bond pretty quickly in a new office?  Well, he never bonded with anyone (and we had multiple AF officers at that point) or even with his civilian team members.  Later he accused me of trying to ruin his career because he didn't like my write up (damning him with faint praise)  but he couldn't even talk my boss in making it better.  

But he wasn't the only one I ran across - he was just the most recent.
