Ruth Bader Ginsburg has fallen and broken some ribs.  She is in the hospital.

In the first instance, a few OF my TRULY deplorable peers on the right… in the comments sections… are already celebrating President Trump’s next Supreme Court appointment. Despicable!

Her fellow justices are NOT celebrating anything… they are compassionate for a woman who has dedicated her life to justice.  The fact that she doesn’t have views that agree with their (or my )  perspective does not degrade my compassion for her… or my appreciation for her service to our nation.

Was she holding out for two more years… maybe… probably?  But, she was likely trying to protect the Supreme Court against the injustice of imbalance.  It matters not.  An overloaded court is… as we have seen in the past decade… dangerous.  Remember: the Supreme Court IS NOT a republic… it is a democracy, and majority rule can be dangerous… as we have seen in the past decade.

I pray that Trump… should the need arise out of Justice Ginsburg’s misfortune… appoints a TRUE constitutional originalist.  If the original document and its amendments do not cover an issue, that issue is relegated to the states. Politics has no place in the court.

Pray for Justice Ginsburg’s healing… however much she can recover.  Pray for wisdom, impartiality, and compassion. The only convenient permanent injury we should advocate… is the blindness of the lady holding the scales and a sword.

it is indeed unfortunate that a Constitutional Originalist is painted by the MSM as a Right Wing Extremist.  RBG will have to answer someday for her legal opinions that flew in the face of constitutional originalism, but I wish her no ill will.  She is not healthy.  She won't hear any new SC cases for 3 months or so as per the SC calendar, but she will miss appellate court reviews.  She and her healthcare teams must attempt to avoid pneumonia at all costs.  Sometimes the elderly need intellectual stimulation to maintain their sense of life purpose, and I assume that is what she has attempted to do with her continued work schedule.  I wish that her faculties remain vivid so that when she decides to vacate this position on the SC, she can still enjoy, participate and relate appropriately to her family and friends.

which is code for Heaven/Hell which offends most liberals and has to be rooted in sexist, bigoted, hate speech by neo-nazi, white nationism. So someone disagreed with your view so flagged it like they do most of the things that cause them butthurt.

Would be funny if the moderators who actually might get the flag notices looked at them and if you exceed some number per day without cause your account is locked and removed from the system for Chicken Little syndrome.

At this point CRD, I am sure that I have read your post at least three times.  Tho' I technically disagree with only one point you make... NOTHING in your post was "inappropriate."

YOU have a right to speak your mind and provoke debate.  Don't we encourage that in this forum?  If we don't, it's an echo chamber where we all (pseudo) intellectually pat each other on the back and declare the other (excluded) side as "irrelevant."

I don't align at all with Architect’s perception.  But, I would not avoid him in a bar… might even buy him a drink. 

Whoever dinged CRD as inappropriate… I say we all vote one “valium” for him or her… bless his or her heart once (each)… and move on.
