Having watched quite a bit of Dr. Jackson's presser, I'm convinced the "journalists" in the room are the ones with the cognitive limitations. Likewise, there are several posters on this forum who IMHO would probably score 0 of 30 on the test Trump aced at 30 of 30.  

For you folks on the left, tomorrow is another day...another opportunity to get Trump...today was not the day!!

Heh....the media would demand they be graded on the curve.  It's how they got through journalism school and managed to pass the remedial math courses they had to take.  One has to immediately wonder at the cognitive ability of anyone that believes so much that just isn't true.  Most liberals are too dumb to even figure that out.  Emotion is so much more satisfying than forming opinions based on facts, logic and reason.  Better to feel good about yourself than actually accomplish something through hard work and tough decisions.

President Trump requested and was given a test for cognitive ability.  He passed with flying colors.  Dr Martini suggests this should squelch the questions about the president's mental stability.  Perhaps Dr Martini is not aware that the test he passed is one designed to determine whether or not a patient has any symptons of memory loss, dementia or Alzheimers, it does not assess general or overall mental health or stability.  It is proof that president Trump has a good memory...it does not say he is a ''stable genius'' and in no way addresses whether or not he is sane!  Alzheimers is a physical disease that effects the brain but it is not ''mental'' illness.  He has a good memory but he still might suffer from severe depression, be bi-polar or worse.  The president could clear up the question himself by requesting to undergo a series of psychiatric tests designed to assess mental health and stability.

Only a psychiatrist can assess his mental health.  All these arm chair mental health experts should be ashamed of unethical behavior.  You know for all the discussion about his mental health, he is doing exactly what he said he would during the campaign.  While some of us wish he could clean up his his language a bit, if not for any other reason that the rest of us get tired of the media going on and on, Interestingly, I saw a poll today that 48% of people did not like his use of "s-hole" - which means the majority didn't care.  

Seriously, don't you think if he was actually mentally ill that Pence, Kelly or his family would get him help or ask for help.  Trump is no different today than he was 10 years ago.  He thrives on contention.

It seems like he gets exercise playing golf, and not everyone that eats fast food has a cholesterol/trygliceride problem.  My grandfather (who lived to be 92), ate all manner of old style Southern food his whole life, and was never diagnosed with a cholesterol or a blood pressure problem).  My father, who is 91, has never eaten healthy or exercised to my knowledge, doesn't have a problem either.   The diet soda thing is fairly recent and I know a lot of people that continue to drink soda.Next year, expect to be told it is not as bad for you as they thought.    He has recently mentioned how good the food is at the WH, and I am sure the chef has come up with ways to watch his fat and sugar without sacrificing flavor.  

What people are taking for "mental illness" is that he just says what he wants.  We are so used to being dished up smooth politicians who use politically correct language.  He understands that you cannot legislate your way to a healhy economy, and you can't just keep taking in immigrants who bring nothing to this country, other than their desire for welfare funds.  

I'm surprised the media didn't demand a dental exam.  :-)

''Only a psychiatrist can determine his mental health.''  You are 100% correct Hound, and the examination the president just had did not include a psychiatrist!  That is and was my point...but it seems the forum has no problem accepting Martini's positive armchair assessment of Trump's mental stability using a cognitive examination (basically a test for Alzheimers) as a refutuation of other layperson's differing armchair diagnosis of the president.  Neither is definitive! What's good for the goose is good for the gander!

Hound, neither you nor I nor Martini nor any other layperson can definitively know whether Trump is mentally unstable...in a word ''crazy''.  But, can you honestly say that if Martini or any other business top management execs said the things, did the things and ran the company the way Trump is trying to run this country, you would not at least give some serious thought to his stability and question whether he should remain in that position?

I did, and the Doctor who spoke and was in charge of the examination was not a psychiatrist and did not directly or indirectly address Mr. Trumps mental health beyond his cognitive abilities which were tested at Mr Trump's request. An analysis of cognitive health is not a test of mental health...Who knows, Ted Bundy may have also been able to score a perfect 30 on a cognitive test too but that would not make him sane!  Do you dare ask that Mr Trump request a psychiatric analysis?

The president is in good physical health and does not have dementia or Alzheimers!  That is good news!  The other news is the examination did not address whether Mr Trump is a ''very stable genius''!  How many other people who are ''very stable'' do you know who feels the need to point out that fact on a daily basis?  I have no idea whether Trump is mentally unstable but if he is a very stable genius he would greatly help his case if he would stop acting and sounding as if he is Bat sh!t crazy!

The doctor said he spends enough time with him (the doctor's office is in immediate proximity to the president's) to be able to make a determination and that he has no concerns at all.  That you can't give it up and admit there is nothing there says something about your cognitive abilities and mental state.

Actually, i have known a lot of people who claim that they are genius.  Washington DC is full of them.  No need to hide your light under a basket.

How would you respond if people were saying that you were mentally unstable to the world at large?  the thing that the Left does not get is that Trump doesn't particularly care if they think he is unstable.  But he feels he needs to say something.  He's not shy.  

Last night, Sanjay Gupta on CNN stated that the President has heart disease.  Well, most likely any man his age does have some level of heart issues, but they don't seem to be life threatening.  So they upped his Crestor. I think the Left is just hoping he has heart disease and will die - soon!  But that likely won't happen.  The biggest thing is that Trump is succeeding and that is driving the Left crazy.  Market at a record high yesterday.  Companies reinvesting in America.
