I picked up Chance the Dog this afternoon and he's been a big ole baby all afternoon and evening. He's a big dog and he got up in my lap while I drove to Dadeville. I took him for a mile long walk and he really minds well. He's been checking out the house and the yard since we got back. Twinkletoes, it was a real pleasure meeting you and the hubby. Y'all are welcome to come visit Chance anytime you want. I appreciate all that you did for Chance and posting on the forum regarding this great dog. I've been looking for a large dog for a while and getting Chance was a prayer answered. Thank you so much........Maddog and Chance

Hi Maddog and Chance,

Reading your message almost made me cry! You and Chance are a match made in heaven. I'm so glad my husband told me to post Chance on the Forum. Now he has a forever home and he's nearby so we can come and visit him. Thanks for giving him a good home!

Let's hope that noone comes forward and tries to claim Chance after this happy ending. It's hard to beat a great relationship between a man and his dog.

Chance showed up at my house on March 17. I called all the local vets to see if someone lost their dog and came up empty. If someone really cares about their pet, they will have a collar with ID and possibly even a microchip, so if they do get lost, they can be reunited with their owner. I think Chance had an irresponsible owner and now he has a great one. They hit it off famously from the start and their relationship will only continue to grow. I couldn't be happier for both of them!
