Utility trailer stolen from yard in Susannah Crossings subdivision. We have had that house about 15 years ( weekends only) and never had a problem. Was by there yesterday and trailer was gone. Hope the tires go flat or bearings lock up on whoever stole it.

How did you have it secured?

Wix, whats your point??  I have four trailers on my property, two with boats, waverunner on the driveway and a utility trailer up the hill..  Any/all are not really secure against a bolt cutter, but that just might be a mistake, should my dear wife, dog or I be alerted during the deed..

Trailer wasn't secured and has been sitting in yard wholemtimemwe have had that house. We have full time neighbors on each side of us both with views of where trailer was. I also kept 2 sea doo trailers and a fishing boat trailer. Only secured trailers with padlock when the boat or sea doos were sitting on them in winter. Not a great loss just a nuisance.

Just think trailers are an easy target, especially parked for months at a time at the home of a part time owner. Times are tough, even for thieves. Why tempt 'em?

Wix is right...at least make them work for it. I brought mine home last month and I still secure it here in the subdivision where I can see it thru the kitchen window. Just too tempting for folks who will steal anything to make money.
