Often wondered why the Right elected Steele to lead the Racist National Committee(RNC)....the answer is another example of a pathetic group...Feel sorry for Michael Steele.
"Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) communication director Ian Walters sparked controversy with a racially charged insult hurled at former RNC chair Michael Steele on Friday night.
“We elected Mike Steele as chairman because he was a black guy, that was the wrong thing to do,” Walters told hundreds of conservatives during the conference’s Ronald Reagan dinner as guests at tables gasped in shock.

Barack Hussein Obama was elected because he was black and that was a mistake too.

Steele was an up and coming politician before he became chair of the RNC. He wasn't put there because he was black, despite what this neanderthal thinks, if this is even true at all. And I don't believe that Obama was elected because he was black. He ran on a platform of hope and change and that's what people wanted. He went on to fail to deliver hope and change and he advanced the racial divide in this country. His would be successor wanted to move our country further towards socialism (ignoring the fact that she had no qualifications) and was shut down.

O-BAMMIE was elected for one reason.....his 1/2 black race. He had absolutely no presidential qualifications when he started and none when he finished.

I don't agree. There may have been blacks that voted for him because he was black, but a lot of white people, self included, voted for him because he promised hope and change. I was disgusted by the attack on Iraq - they weren't a threat to us. We sent our miitary into harms way for no good reason and we were already in Afghanistan. I was disgusted by the neo-cons who were running Washington. I wanted some hope and some change. I could not bring myself to vote for McCain or Romney. So for me, it was not that Obama was black, but that he promised something different. I got turned off when he spoke out on crimes that he had no business commenting on, and when he started contributing to the racial divide. I didn't know that he would turn out to be a weak leader.
Color doesn't mean anything to me when it comes to the Presidency. If they could have persuaded Colin Powell to run, I would have voted for him. I think the majority of people feel like I do.

Obama used the words "Hope and Change" as his platform to gain the people's vote and he succeeded. He was a smooth talker and his best qualification was that as a Community Organizer. He may have been a Community Organizer but as President he was a Country Divider. Also, his "smooth talk" led to the addition of $10 trillion dollars to the National Debt and numerous other give aways during his eight year reign. It continues to be very frustrating to listen to the Democrats whining about President Trump increasing the debt when they have been the major contributors.

I too would have voted foe Powell at the time. I will always believe that many whites voted for Obama because he was black and no other reason. That put him in office.

is what got Obama elected. Many years of listening to the MSM have made many "liberally college" educated whites feel a need to prove thier not racist. We now see what happens when we hire someone for any reason other than qualifications for the job.

Read what I posted. The comment about Steele was from the Communications Director at the recent CPAC meeting.
"Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) communication director Ian Walters sparked controversy with a racially charged insult hurled at former RNC chair Michael Steele on Friday night.

Here is Steels's reply......
Feb.24.2018
Michael Steele responds to the CPAC official who said hiring a ‘black guy’ was the ‘wrong thing to do,’ answering ‘yes’ when Joy Reid asked Steele if the Republican Party has a racism problem.
And, yes I agree with Steele. The Right does have a racist problem. Do you agree with Steele?

Do you think the Democrats have a racism problem? Their only concern for blacks is to gain their votes. What have Democrats done for blacks in the Democratic managed cities like Chicago, Detroit, Baltimore, St. Louis, Newark, Philadelphia, etc.? Democrats don't even want blacks to have an ID Card. Why is that?

The truth is that both sides of the aisle have a race problem. One side would push blacks ahead because of white guilt and the other has these feelings that blacks are welfare recipients.
Obama was duly elected and served two terms. He is out of office now, so that is over and done with, and it doesn't really matter why he was elected, does it?
And Trump has been duly elected and it doesn't really matter why he was elected, does it? He's in office for better or worse.
In both cases, it doesn't matter if you think they were qualified or not - I don't think there really is "qualified" when it comes to the Presidency. It is so diverse, how could anyone really be "qualified" for it?
With regard to Trump's hair, have a little empathy. Clearly, it is something that bothers him and don't we all have a foibles? He's not ready to be bald, and I know a lot of men who are like that and have extensive comb overs.

That’s just too bad.
He refers to Rubio as Little Marco which is an insult to shorter guys. He referred to Carly Florin during the debates as ugly. He recently called Adam Schiff Little Adam Schiff.
Few years ago, he told an attorney who was taking a deposition from him that she was disgusting for attempting to take a prearranged and carefully-timed break for pumping breast milk.
He deserves no sympathy.

Umm, I think you are referring to the debates. I don't hold with name calling, but neither side is clear. Did you not read the exerts from Hilary Clinton's after election book? But in case you have forgotten, Donald Trump IS the President and he represents our country around the world. At least he didn't joke about Obama's ears and Michelles bottom.
Funny, it doesn't appear that Marco has taken it personally. GF, I think you need to spend 6 months in NYC and 6 months in DC. People have tough skins. And just so you know, Trump made a joke about his hair incident the other day.

I don't have a problem with the picture. What I have a problem with is people being petty about it. We all say we want a better world but how many people do what they can to make it that one. For example, not making fun of the President's hair. Criticize his ideas, his policies, his billions, but why pick on something so personal and stupid. The way we make it a better world is to start with kindness - FB is full of liberals promoting kindness to make the world a better place.

It starts at the top. He needs to change his approach and others will follow. From the cheering, it appears that the majority of those who attend his rallies enjoy when he allows himself to get into the gutter with his personal attacks. Maybe, in time, he will change...but 70 year olds aren't known to change.

Did you have affairs and get Lewinsky's from young girsl when Slick Willie was POTUS? Somehow justifying your pettiness by pointing to Trump comes off to me as a bit childish. Didn't your Mom teach you that other people's bad behavior is no excuse? I know mine did.

So because he made some rude comments, that makes it okay for you and other liberals to make fun of him? But Liberals are always talking about being kind, yet, they seem to make an exception for him. So many of them grew up worrying about everyone's self esteem and being inclusive and everyone getting a fair shake. And yet, they talk the talk, but don't walk the walk. Which means it's a bunch of BS, and they are just as petty and small minded as they accuse Conservatives of being.
You keep bring up Rubio, but I think Rubio is a big boy and with a thick skin and I don't think anything that Trump says affects him.
Did it ever occur to you that perhaps Trump hits first, because he knows they are going to hit him? New Yorkers and the politicals of DC are tough and back stabbling is a way of life Now you might want to blame that on Republicans, but beiieve me, Democrats give as good as they get.
And did you hear the news? The Califonia Democratic Party is not backing Diane Finestein for re-election. Now that is a start.

Someone has to do the hard work. There is so much negative news daily on the Trump team but I just can't keep up with it. I do my best and am pleased that you read them.
I remember how well you did during Obama's 8 years keeping us to up to date with never a positive post. I am amused with your concern with my truthful posts.
