And unlike the allegations against Moore which are 30 to 40 years ago, it turns out Alfrankenperv has been at it while a sitting U.S. Senator. I don't get it as his resignation would not change the seat as the Guv in a Dem and would replace the perv with a Dem. When you consider all the lies told by the one woman that claims sexual assault, especially the fact that Moore did not actually sign the yearbook as they originally claimed, it seems that Alfrankenperv has way more problems than Moore and his prediliction for teenage girls back when he was in his thirties.
But none of that matters to the Democrats and the govt media since the real goal is to gather up Senate seats, not to right past wrongs.

Where did you hear that Moore did not sign the year book? Last I heard, they were going to have the signature analyzed.
Do you think Franken will quit? I'll bet a lot of people in Congress are holding their breath right now, hoping that no on from their past comes forward.

Last I saw was they were willing to release the yearbook if and only if Roy agreed to go under oath before the senate judiciary committee and senate select ethics committee. Which I am sure that even if they agreed yesterday would not happen before the election.
If she wanted to prove it was his signature and shut down questions of did he sign the yearbook just release the notebook to a third party quickest way to stop that line of doubt.
Insisting that it only happen before congress, quickest way to make sure it does not happen timely.

Either it is real or not - time will not change the facts. The only reason to not have it looked by someone right away would be push the fact finding past the election where it would not matter to anything other then the election which has already happened. If the signature has problems - well does not matter.

The last I saw was that there are the initials D.A. next to the signature on the yearbook, which was Moore's assistant at the time he was a judge (Delbra Adams). Apparently she often signed things for him and as we do in our business. For legal reasons when we sign someone else's name to a document we include our intitials. They lamely tried to claim belatedly that the letters were for District Attorney, except he was never a DA. He was an assistant DA and a judge but never a DA. Also, Ms. Adams didn't start to work for Moore until 1989 or 12 years after the alleged signing of the yearbook. But it gets even better.
Apparently Ms. Adams regularly signed official documents for Judge Moore, including a divorce decree for, believe it or not, Beverly Nelson....yep the very same woman who is accusing Moore of assault. When pressed by Wolf Blitzer of CNN on whether the signature was a forgery, Gloria Allred refused to answer the question and only offered to provide the yearbook to a Senate committee for handwriting analysis that will never happen unless Moore is elected and never for a candidate. In essence, she will not allow the forgery to be proved until after the election and the damage is done. That to me is very damning evidence that this whole thing is a charade. I am now inclined to believe that someone, probably the accuser herself, went back to her divorce decree and copied Moore's signature into the yearbook, including the initials D.A., which would have never been on his signature in 1977 since it predated Ms. Adams employment with Moore by 12 years.
What we are left with is Moore having a penchant for younger girls when he was in his 30's. And all these relationships came with parental consent.....and in some cases encouragement. Don't get me wrong, I find this behavior creepy to say the least. But does it rise to the level of sexual assault or does his behavior 30 to 40 years ago make him ineligible for the Senate today? If so, why did Democrats elect Robert KKK Byrd? Why is Alfrankenperv not resigning? Why was Slick Willie worthy of all their admiration and reelection?
If I were an Alabama resident I initially said I would either sit this one out or write in Mo Brooks. But as more of this comes to light I think I would still vote for Moore. If the crap hits the fan afterward he can be removed and the Governor can appoint a Republican to the seat. This smells way too fishy to me ala Harry Reid lying about Romney paying his taxes and gloating in the fact that despite being untrue, it worked. I would not want to participate in that kind of skullduggery by Democrats to win a seat.

I watched the one woman's interview. I believe her. But as I have said before, my objections to Moore really don't have anything to do with 30 years ago. I cannot bring myself to vote for him. We are always talking about our represenation in Congress, and I have to say that nothing about Roy Moore makes me feel like he will represent me.
I'm going to sit this one out. Yes, I know that many people here feel that is giving the election to Doug Jones. But I have to live with myself and I can't live with myself and vote for Roy Moore.

I have never been a Moore supporter. Voted for Brooks in the primary and then Moore in the runoff. Cannot understand the logic of not voting for Moore in the upcoming election. Honestly compare the ideology of Moore and Jones. Which one best represents the majority thinking of the citizens of Alabama and the USA. Don't let your vote be swayed by your emotions and the media narrative. If you truly want things to get better in our federal government, help drain the swamp. Moore may have some warts but Jones is the toad you don't want to kiss.

I listened to parts of her interview and it frankly didn't sway me. Why the forged signature in the yearbook? And the idea that she would actually tell her grade school children and they advised her to not say anything is either a fabrication or not the greatest example of parenting. I cannot imagine sitting down with my young children, telling them this story and them responding, "Gee Mom, don't say anyhting as it will harm me in my social circles, I might not get invited to the prom when I am in high school or whatever". I'm sorry, but no grade school aged kids are going to respond that way.
As for sitting this one out, I can understand your position. I would go the other way, especially looking at the alternative. Here's hoping that if he won't resign he will win and then let the Senate remove him if they want. But if they remove him and leave Franken and now Conyers and all the other beneficiaries of the slush fund then you will realize you've been had and none of this had anything to do with Moore. It was all about winning. Time will tell..........

You hit the nail on the head, martini. I guarantee Conyers and Franken will remain in their seats. The purpose of this exercise is to subtract a republican seat from the Senate so the swamp can block trumps agenda and keep the supreme court from getting another conservative justice.
When was the last time a democrat left office for corruption or misconduct? Never. The timing of these allegations tell you everything. The forged yearbook signature is the clincher.

I don't think her children are school age now. I think she said that she didn't come forward earlier because her children were small. I have some questions in my mind about why she went to his house, but I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt that becasue he was a public figure and she felt safe. But even at 14, I think if some man told me to take off my clothes, I woudn't have done so and I would have left immediately. I think my parents would have had something to say if some 32 year old man was pursuing me at 14.
Now I am just looking forward to the election, just so I don't have to hear anymore about him and from him.
I have to say I was deeply saddened that Charlie Rose had a pattern of sexual harassment in the past. I sometimes watch him on CBS This Morning, and I have to say I liked him.

What she specifically said is that she didn't say anything to them when they were really young, which is understandable, but when they were in grade school she sat down with them and told them what happened. And they advised her not to say anything out of fear of their social status. I find it not believable that it happened (especially given the yearbook forgery) or if it did happen that way it is unbelievable that she put that burden on her young children and that they had the maturity to give her the advice she claims they did. It just doesn't add up and despite his penchant for younger girls it does not match up with the behavior with all the others. Either way, the election will eventually be over and you will either be represented by a left wing nut or a short timer that will get booted shortly after he gets there.

Not to mention she was so freaked out by the experience that she snuck out of the house at least 3-4 times or more to be with him and all trips went to his house?
I dont buy the story. No woman/girl is stupid enough to have been so freaked out by trip number 1 that they repeated it till he almost raped her at which she really freaked out asked to be taken home and it was OK, let me put my pants on.
With the attitudes of the time, she would have been fully raped and told to put some ice on it like Bill Clinton told Juanita Broaddrick. Pre DNA evidence etc, word against word - little girl from broken home vs Deputy DA - no one would believe it back then - so why would he stop, just because she freaked? If they were so far out the dirt road at his home who would hear and again why would he stop?

He would stop for 2 reasons, rape is a crime and sex with a minor is a crime and presumably, he hoped to continue in his law profession.
And at the time, girls were told to keep their virginity for their husband, because no man wanted used goods.
Her children could be 12 or 13 when she told them. (12 would be 6th grade). Perhaps she told them because she had made a mistake and didn't want a daughter to be taken in or wanted her son to be sexually responsible and learn that no means no,
Whether she came from a broken home had nothing to do with it.
Roy Moore is still a creep in my book, but not the reason I won't vote for him. He's grown to be a complete nut case.
