After much soul searching and gnashing of the teeth over the cost, I finally took the leap and bought an egg. First entre cooked was cheese, black forest and jalapeño quesadilla. Wonderful! Followed up by grilled sausage (appetizer), half-chicken and a batch of drumsticks. I’m sold. After a recommendation by McGill, I went with the XL and am glad I did. Can’t wait to experiment more!

How does one empty ash from a BGE? Is there a drawer or pan that can be pulled out? Or do you have to turn it upside down to empty? Just askin'.

Good thing is there are very few ashes.  Bad thing is, the way to get them out is rake them out thru the vent window, or remove inside parts and clean them out.

I just break out the shop vac and pull it out. Remember to open the top vent though. Found that out the hard way..
