Think I may invest in a wireless thermometer to use for smoking meats. What would you recommend?

I have two Maverick 733's I use. They each have two probes that can monitor meat temp or grill/smoker temp. So far they have been excellent. I got them from Amazon. Maverick has come out with a 4 probe bluetooth model that will send the info to your smart phone. It is considerably higher and unless you just don't want to carry the receiver, I don't see the advantage.

Fully agree on the Maverick 733. Very accurate both probes. Range from base unit to remote is also good. I can set up for a 12 hour smoke overnight and the alarm feature will wake me for a too high or too low cook temp. About 2 years old and same batteries. Mine also via Amazon.

This is by far the best I have seen and used.
