Wow. That would make the picture even bigger.....and better. Only boats we see these days are flashes of fishermen zooming by.

Yep, I see them at the River. The colder the better I think they like it. I would freeze to death. I got a couple of buddies (David and David) that will fish rain, wind or snow.

That "CATBOAT flyby" would probably be the CAT trying to escape the wrath of the forum diners after opening the aforementioned restaurant suggested by you in a recent thread!

Lakngulf, was by your place yesterday in my runabout just checking out the view as shown in your photo. We are indeed fortunate to wake up each morning and enjoy Lake Martin.

Nice shot, LNG. Got me dead center. The reflection of the sun on the ripples in the water across the way Saturday PM could calm down even the severely hyperactive. Good stuff.

Sure did. If I took another picture a couple of those pine trees would be missing. My wife and I put 8 on the ground on Sunday. Seven of them cooperated nicely.
P.S. my grandsons wanted to know what was the big blue thing across the lake. I told them it was probably a UFO that landed on the water and floated up to Mack's house. Grandsons: "Who is Mack?"

Good move to get rid of the pines than can reach your house and roof!! Maybe don't look as nice, but when you see them bending over during a thunderstorm, over your roof, you relax just a little, Huh? UFO, blue thing? Don't know about that. But, there have been reports of strange "lights" in the trees, a green fog-like glow, in the trees across the slough from me. Happened twice. Go figure?? As far as the kids are concerned, tell them, when they get on your Waverunner in the future, to stop by the dock, introduce themselves, and expect a hearty welcome to the slough. Maters due on demand, of course.
