Yes… In Iraq
Bad news: Rockets and mortars in our compound almost every day.
Good news: Generally, they were not very good at rockets and mortars… though sometimes they got lucky. I did have a bullet hole show up in the hood of my vehicle… directly in front of the windshield. I don’t know whether I was in the vehicle or not.
Really hair raising: I was imbedded in the Iraqi government and was “guarded” by Iraqis.

Military service is the antithesis of living as a snowflake. True character is derived from confidence, competence, compassion, honesty, and humility.
One:
Educates one’s self, becomes confident that one knows what he or she is doing… how to find that first 10 seconds of courage when you need it,
has a desire to understand and incorporate the needs of others,
realizes that one is not the center of the universe.
honors his word... a contract is the refuge of lawyers and hucksters... NEVER lose your name!
We are all dust in the wind of geologic time. We should strive to make the world a better place for having travelled through.

PTSD is the result of exposure to violence and its consequences on a repeated basis… NOT your party’s loss in the last election.
Snowflakes are confused and cannot tell the difference between a wolf and a sheepdog. So much so, that they go out of their way to protect wolves and ban sheepdogs. Wolves are sacred… defang the sheepdogs! It is the duty of wolves to keep the snowflakes (sheep) confused.
Snowflakes should worry most that they WILL get that for which they wish.
