There is just something not quite right about his appointment, performance, and departure.  Am I alone having this thorny thought that there is something else… that we have less than the whole story?

He seemed perfect for the job.  Yet, almost at the onset of his tenure, he took his foot off the gas. Then his recusal.  Trump was right to be dismayed.  Or maybe this is all part of a complex maneuver to deliver a desired outcome.

Maybe somebody has something on him… take for example the #metoo assaults on Moore and Kavanaugh.

No, knowing Jeff for years he tripped over his own ethics.   So straight that he can not bend what he perceives as rules, laws or rags.  He is his worst enemy. 

But Mueller was ready to issue his report after the midterms.  Let’s move on to the future.  The collusion was imaginary and he caught some thieves along the way but it is time to move on.  

Now comes the real challenge which is passing some things like infrastructure, immigration, etc that everyone can agree on.  If the demos insist on impeachment, 2020 will be a piece of cake for trump!  Make deals with trump on agreeable issues makes 2020 at least competitive.

Matthew G. Whitaker, Chief of Staff to Attorney General Jeff Sessions at the Department of Justice, will become our new Acting Attorney General of the United States. 

Sessions was neutered with the Russia thing from the start - maybe his replacement will handle things better.

And it appears Rosenstein had a meeting with Trump this afternoon - wonder if his resignation was also discussed - or just that there is a new boss in town.

Probably true about Sessions.

Hopefully Mueller will submit some reports soon - Personally I think that Clinton and Obama weaponised the DOJ/Intelligence agencies and information is coming out to support that opinion.

Was always a supporter of Sessions and hoped that there was the coming day when justice would truly be served. But, alas, we have this paradox...his adherence to his convictions resulted in justice not being served.  Huge disappointment.

I agree what a huge disappointment sessions was. I always thought something was going to fall some kind of Justice was going down. Now I don't know. What has this hoober guy been doing?
