“The former acting director of the CIA, in his first public testimony on Benghazi, confirmed that he ignored guidance from the top CIA officer on the ground in favor of reporting from analysts far removed from the scene

“Still, Morell explained that when he received the email from the CIA chief of station, he recognized the ‘discrepancy’ between what he was saying and what other analysts were saying. He said he quickly had his analysts ‘revisit their judgment’ that a protest was underway -- but ‘based on a totality of the information available to them, they stuck with their initial conclusions.’

“The testimony was met with skepticism in some corners. One source who was on the ground in Benghazi that night questioned the claims.

"’Why would he ever believe that people who weren't there hold credence [over] those of us that were...and even his own respected Chief of Station?’ the source said. ‘It [makes] no sense.’” [Fox News, 02APR14]

Something about this smells fishy.

Is anyone else but me… surmising that the administration has something on Morell… and is directing him to dive on his sword… or else! No rational person… especially from the top echelon of the intelligence system… would go before Congress and profess to be both disloyal and incompetent.

This is not stonewalling… this has the odor of intentional misdirection.

Major since coming of age in the Nixon era I have always been skeptical of any and all goverment officialls and their relationship with the truth.  Now with the Snowden revealtions confirming what many of us suspected, I don't believe anything any of them say.  IMHO anyone that thinks the NSA is not collecting data on any and every person of significance is just naive beyond belief.  Now that their capabillities have been exposed and admitted to it seems foolish to me to believe anything to the contrary.

I also beleive that NSA data collection, AKA domestic spying, is the reason we have Obamacare today.  I don't care how squeaky clean anyone is, there will always be private phone calls and/or actions that one would not want made public, and that includes the Cheif Justice of SCOTUS.  Hence his last minute flip flop on his position on the issue possibly?

Of course these are just my personal beliefs and can be taken with a grain of salt, but surely I am not the only person to have thought of the connection although I have not heard anyone else express these views.  I am afraid that the liberty and freedom this once great nation stood for is soon to be nothing more than a footnote in the revisionist history text books.

I used to pray that God continue to bless America, now I pray for God to save America.

32 And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.

When the wicked fall… the lot of the righteous will be hard.

With the wicked… fall riches. Though the righteous will have worked hard… and taking advice from the wicked… will have set aside a portion of the fruit of their sweat… the fortune of the righteous will suffer with the demise of the wicked.

Will the wicked vanish and leave only the righteous to survive?
