Envision a small two lane bridge in the dead of winter… with a curve on the other side. The bridge is iced over and you are behind a couple of cars coming up on the bridge. The first car skids on the ice and goes over the embankment of the curve.   The second car slows… but still skids… and goes over the embankment.  You have just seen two failed outcomes. What would the reasonable person do?

We have watched Greece’s economy tank so far that they went after people’s savings ( ~ 401k?). We are watching Italy skidding on the same bridge. What would a reasonable government do?

Our government will begin to tax Social Security (needs testing = socialism). They will raise astonishing taxes on dividends and capital gains. Our government will punish the people who worked hard and saved for retirement… so that they can continue to coddle the non-productive, low information class.  The common bowl will crack… and then break… and the lower class will riot.
