It is my understanding that Pres. Obama issued an Executive Order to increase full pool to 491. The higher level is designed to encourge those with waterfront property to purchase flood insurance. The premiums will be used to help bring down the debt. After a short period at 491, the level will be reduced to a max. of 490. If the increase in the purchase of flood insurance is low, the level will be increased to 492, 493........

Lake Martin forum and the official measurers have been at odds by 1 foot for yesrs. And this yesr they reconciled. The lake stayed @ the same levsl - wr just call it a foot different.

I still call it 490 on my app but I need to change to 491. Most people I know (even old lake folks) refer to full pool as 491 now.

It was NOT Obama who caused an estimated $3,000,000,000 (on the low end) cost to our economy because of an unjust war

It was NOT Obama who caused the deaths of over 1,000,000 Iraqi civilians

It was NOT Obama who caused the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis which was avoidable had the administration acted

It was NOT Obama who bailed out the banks and Wall Street the first time

It was NOT Obama who cost us $22,000,000,000 by not preventing the Financial Crisis (it was avoidable)

It was NOT Obama who said he would NOT work "across the aisle"

I am not a big Obama supporter as it may seem, I am just sick and tired of politics being introduced into this forum.  If you cannot reply without some snide comment, then don't comment at all.
