I live in DeSoto County and I am getting spring fever bad. I'm thinking about taking the old boat down to Sardis on the next warm day that I am off work, and brave the waves. Hopefully, I'll get lucky and get a calm afternoon. For those that don't know; a little wind on Sardis can make for some pretty rough water. Anyway, I stumbled across this website while looking for some winter time fishing tips for Sardis. So, if I do indeed get the opportunity to get away from work and family for a day, and do any good I'll post it on here.

Would be interested in seeing your post, and any others regarding Sardis and other north Mississippi lakes. We frequent Sardis year round for boating, fishing and water sports. Was at Holiday and Hurricane yesterday. Lake was calmer than I thought it would be with since wind forcast was not good (NNE 5-10). We found water temp in shollow areas (2-3ft)50.4 degrees. Holiday had 15 rigs out and Hurricane about the same at noon. Good luck Rod-Oxford
