I am new to the south and would love to hear anyones input. So far I have been to Pickwick and at 120 miles one way was wondering if it was worth it. How are Enid and Sardis. This question is for Skiing, knee boarding, etc.

I'm not from around there but I think Sardis is more of a fishing lake. water is muddy year around.
Pickwick is a great lake for skiing clear deep water and very scenic.

I'm on Sardis year round for fishing, boating and use, both, lower and upper lakes for recreation May-Oct. Water stays murky but settles down some July-Sept. If the wind is 8mph+, the upper lake can get a little rough. If white caps start developing, time to get off the lake for me. Lower lake is alway okay to navigate in most any wind but it's a very small lake. It's okay for skiing and has the best beach areas for children.
