Quote from Pfizer CEO:

“Every year, you need to go to get your flu vaccine,” Bourla said. “It’s going to be the same with COVID. In a year, you will have to go and get your annual shot for Covid to be protected.”

My question...do you become "unvaccinated" at the end of a year?

As the antibodies from the vaccine fades.  Is that too hard to understand?

So you are saying I can catch polio since I have not had a shot since grade school????????????

Same with the MMR, and all other vaccines - the only one that is yearly is the flu - because new strains of flu come out yearly.

Damn those Drs for not taking there do no harm oath more seriously and not giving us shots yearly to make us feel like we have done something vs actually looking at the science.

So, I guess either Covid 19 is producing different strains which is leaving us unprotected, the vax itself is not as good as it was claimed to be, or its variants/strains or so different we need new flu shots every few months for life to protect against the Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, Golf, Hotel, India(well that one will probably get skipped because someone might get offended and claim racism).......Zebra........

Funny from what the CDC put out is that vaccinated people may have a larger viral load then unvaxxed and that the vaxx could be speeding up mutations - well that was in the pulled study that was retracted and did not use any US approved vaxx's.

Apparently, Phizer has found that their vaccine fades to only 85% effective after 6 months and will likely need a booster.  There has been no indication that the Moderna vaccine becomes less effective with time.

Like your flu shot, it is intended to get you through the worst of flu season and it's protection fades over time, which is why you need to get one every year.  Additionally, it only protects you from what they think  will be the prevelent strain for that year.

I don't think it is a matter of vaccinated or unvaccinated, but protecting ourselves on a yearly basis. I actually wonder what the next virus that China will unleash on us, once COVID becomes less prevalent.

As I understand it we need to take an annual flu vaccine because the flu virus mutates and last year's version will not address this year's more dominant variants.  Every year the WHO, CDC, et al examine the various flu strains and changes the mix to account for what is most prevalent.  But the Fauci virus shots are not really a vaccine, they are an experimental gene therapy meant to trick the body into generating antibodies.  Whether that approach wears off over time or the boosters will be modified to address new variants is anyone's guess.

I am watching to see if the Novavax vaccine gets approved.  It is in Phase 3 trials right now with adolescents and the results with adults have been very good so far.  This is a vaccine I will take because it is a real vaccine developed using traditional approaches, not gene therapy that has never been used before.  And Novavax has decided to wait for FDA approval instead of seeking an emergency use authorization.  And the adverse reactions are significantly less than the Moderna and Pfizer rMNA shots......I have a hard time using the term vaccine with those.

Agree MM.  The subunit technology has been utilized for many other children vaccinations and proven extraordinarily successful.  Less side effects, less time out of work, 90-95% efficacy, with the ability to adjust the subunit ID as the genomic sequencing and proteins change as the virus mutates.

Wish they could get it approved soon.  But I prefer to have them FDA approved.

It is absolutely about "vaccinated vs. unvaccinated".  We seem to be hellbent on creating a caste system in our society based on these designations.  Who will make that determination, how, and when.  Very perilous times.

A FDA official gave a completely convoluted explaination of what it will take to move the COVID vaccine from EUA to be fully approved.  Even for a former Fed like me, it was a bunch of bureaucratic cow droppings.  Their goal is to get at least one of them approved by Jan 22.  Maybe Biden should light a fire under the FDA.

I'm with you.   Instead of killing off the entire world at one time and sending us back 200 years, they have created a slow systematic way of keeping everyone in a state of fear and destroying the economy and education of children everywhere except China.   While they laugh.    Meanwhile, Biden sits on his A$$, wipes it and is so proud of himself.   Kamala is chomping at the bit and Hillary is pi$$ed because she won't be the first women president.   My opinion.   NO websites to quote, just me.      Don't need all you mightier than anyone else on the forum to respond.   Quite frankly, we should all get over it.    You guys can dick back and forth forever but know one will ever change their mind.   Because I have no life, just kidding, I check this out daily and laugh my a$$ off over how riled up everyone gets.   Have a good night and stay cool?? LITERALLY.   Will say this.   Just came back from Badlands with grandkids and stayed in this really great camping site.  Under Canvas.   It's glamping.   They are safari tents.   King size bed, bathroom, deck on the front, overlooking Mt. Rushmore.   We were late making reservations but you can 2 bedroom tents.   Campfires, s'mores,   It was in Keystone, SD.   Dining, bar, games.     There are several of these across the country.  Goodnight all.    Have a good weekend

“Before a potential new therapy can reach patients, it goes through several clinical trial phases that test an intervention for both safety and effectiveness. Looking at the big picture, it takes approximately ten years for a new treatment to complete the journey from initial discovery to the marketplace. Clinical trials alone take six to seven years on average to complete."

Yet, Trump pushed through the Covid vaccine in months. Based on the normal timeline, it will be another 9 years before it is “ready” for marketing. However, I suspect they will move to change the status from Emergency to Approval in the next few months.

Any approval of the Novavax vaccine will be well short of the normal timetable.

Why will you accept a vaccine that is approved before the end of the normal testing period?

This not a “gotcha” question and I will not respond.

The Novavax version, while running through the approval process faster, is not gene therapy, it is a traditional approach to vaccines.  As I stated many times, the development of these experimental "vaccines" was nothing short of a miracle and have saved countless lives.  Thank you President Trump!  But they have come at a very high cost compared to other traditional vaccines in terms of adverse reactions and deaths.  But for someone over age 65 or with 2 or more co-morbidities it is absolutely worth the risk of a bad outcome because the risk of getting the virus is even higher.  Not so for many others which is why it may be a rational and logical decision to wait.

One add on comment to the speed of approval both of the current versions and others in development, much of that speed was elimination of the bureaucratic process within FDA.  The reason Novavax is taking longer than the others is to allow enough time for them to complete their studies on effectiveness and potential short and long term complications.  I am all for that and if they can eliminate the paperwork nightmare of the FDA approval process and use traditional vaccine approaches that have been proven to be safer and effective then I am all for it.  Ideally it would have been better to allow for the studies to be performed instead of a massive human trial but I get the call on the decision.  As for me, while I would have approved the EUA, I would have encoruaged it for those at greatest risk to the virus and not anyone else, although if someone younger and healthier wanted it I would have allowed them to get it once they understood their risk to the virus and the short and potential long-term risks to the vaccines.  I think if we would have provided an honest appraisal of individual risk many younger, healthier people would have elected to wait.

Where did I claim that the flue shot was a booster????  I am starting to understand more and more why you do not post links - you just keep making up facts and numbers to fit your warped worldview that you are an expert if every field, when in reality you are nothing but a rabid leftist screaming at the sky.

My exact quote - which explains pretty clearly why the flu shot is not a booster - and is yearly to cover new strains.

"Same with the MMR, and all other vaccines - the only one that is yearly is the flu - because new strains of flu come out yearly."

quote from antifatech

but the Shingles, Pneumonia, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B plus others along with any number of children's vaccines do require regular or occasional boosters.  Of course l doubt you are bright enough to have had any of them, selfish people are that way sometime.  Anyway, do some research next time before you pop off.

Damn you really are not good at this are you??????????

"Well it looks like you need to do lots of reseach before you pop off" -  looks like the shots you listed do not require regular shots or boosters, and yes moron I have had every damn one you listed, but now I am questioning if you have since you seem to not know that these are not things you get yearly.

Apparently my Fauchi Ouchy is not even good for a 6 damn months since they are already talking about additional boosters, or annual shots.

Now, what may make more sense ( in your case ) is that when I google annual vaccines I got lots of hits for rabies, which would explain why you seem to be foaming at the mouth.

How long is the hepatitis A vaccine good for?

How long does hepatitis A vaccine protect you? Estimates for long-term protection for fully vac- cinated people (i.e., full two-dose series) suggest that protection from hepatitis A virus infection could last for at least 25 years in adults and at least 14–20 years in children

how often should you get hepatitis b vaccine?

Answer:

Hepatitis B vaccine is given as a two or three dose series, depending on the age that you receive the vaccine. In general, you only need the complete Hepatitis B vaccine series once in a lifetime. Learn more about Hepatitis B and who is eligible for the vaccines publicly funded (free) here.

Do I need to get Shingrix every 5 years?

The effects of the Shingrix vaccine last for at least four years in most people and may last even longer in some. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), you do not need a booster dose after getting the two doses of Shingrix.May 6, 2021

How often a person should get the pneumonia vaccine depends on their age and overall health.

The CDCTrusted Source recommend the following schedules:

  • Infants should receive the PCV13 vaccine at 2, 4, 6, and 12–15 months.
  • Adults only need one dose of PCV13.
  • A single dose of PPSV23 is sufficient for anyone who needs it, such as those over 65 years of age and people with underlying health conditions.

1/  Would you consider signing a petition to allow Donald Trump to serve a 3rd term?

2/  Would you sign a petition calling for the dropping of all charges against the Jan 6 capitol invaders?

3/  Do you realize that in 1905 a very conservative Supreme Court declared constitutional the city of Boston's mandate that all citizens get a Smallpox Vaccine during a localized outbreak of Smallpox.  The ruling stated that the public safety and common good must sometime be placed ahead of an individual's perceived rights?

4/  If you had been around in 1942 would you have objected to the universal military draft?  I believe an argument could be made that being forced into what is ''involuntary servitude'' that might get you killed is more drastic that requiring a vaccination that might save your life.

5/  Do you even realize that your post could easily be interpreted to reinforce my post about where you fall on the A and B alternatives?

Soooo you call me a genius,  state you agree with me - then tell me I am stupid and probably have never had other vaxx's, all while claiming that the vaccines you listed do require boosters, which they seem to last anywhere from 8 years or so to a lifetime once you are done with the series.

So yeah I just looked at your post again  - and with your statement that you were actually agreeing with me, it now makes less sense then it did when I just assumed you were only an a$$hole.

Hopefully you try again, because I am not buying what you are selling.  If you agree with me then why would you tell me to do some research before I pop off ?????

Please go do your own research and while you are at it see about contacting any local mental health facility - tell them you are broken and need help.  Lots of help.
