In the end it is always Trump's fault.. but is it?  

I'm not much of a conspiracy theorist, but I think there is a lot about the Corona virus that we are not being told.  At first they said it came from snakes, then from some animal that the Chinese sell as food in the market place and now we find it comes from a lab.  And then a guy from Harvard was arrested for doing something with a lab in China.  Surprise! It is the lab where the Corona virus came from.  Another surprise!  The Chinese Dr. that was in charge of the lab died from the virus and he was blamed because he wanted to speak out about the virus, but the Chinese didn't want him to.  Does it seem possible to anyone that the Chinese were experimenting with germ warfare?  

We know it's in China and South Korea and Italy and a few cases in the U.S., but what about other countries?  North Korea?  Russia?  What other countries haven't reported it - Malaysia, Hong Kong (well they are part of China), Singapore, etc?  We find out it is in Iran.  Where else?  

Be interesting to know why it was in a lab in China, who was paying for that Lab, and what information was the Harvard guy providing to them?

Bear in mind this correction is like manna from heaven for the left.  All they need is a recession and stock market crash and we get a socialist President.  Trust me, they are praying for that to happen.  And if a few million people die as a result that's just collateral damage in the quest for the "ultimate" good.....at least in their minds.

What is interesting with all the fanfare is that the mortality rate of this particular virus is lower than the usual flu season.  But it is more easily spread and people are contagious long before they have symptoms and mortality isn't just reserved for susceptible people (elderly, people with other medical issues, etc.).  It seems to impact people differently and not being in a sensitive subset is no guarantee you won't succumb to it.  I think its a safe bet to assume this virus was developed in a Chinese lab in Wuhan and it was released either accidently or on purpose.  And its an even safer bet that you can't trust a damn thing the Chinese government is saying.

We can only guess the mortality rate for the coronavirus but the ChiComs are claiming less than 2%.  Mortality rate per CDC for all types of influenza is 2%.  Again, the issue with this virus is it is highly contagious, as it was designed to be, and can be transmitted prior to being symptomatic, as it was designed to be.  So far the transmission rate is around 2 but it could go higher.  Sen. Tom Cotton has been all over this and knows what he is talking about.  Of course he was called a nutjob and conspiracy theorist when he said over a month ago to ban all travel to and from China and that the virus was engineered. 

Once again the fake newsmedia and Democrats (synonyms) were wrong but now are of course trying to pin this on Trump ala Goofy's post above.  Like having a pandemic czar would ahve changed anything.  We already have CDC.  We have never had to deal with an engineered virus and had the ChiComs told the truth from the beginning we would have reacted differently.

Cant say I blame him for not filling empty positions considering the state the NSC, NDI etc has been for the last 11 years.  It was weaponized by Oblamer against Trump.  You have to be wearing blinders to now see the corruption in DC - but then again You and Antifatech still want to go with not a smidgen of corruption during the previous administration.  You  have your party glasses on and find no fault on your own side of the isle.  Oblamer stockpiled hundreds of extra people into offices before leaving as part of coup attempt, your just pissed that they have failed again, and again, and again.

but if Trump continues along the lines espoused by MM by trying to put a too rosy hue on it and  makes it a political issue rather than a health issue it will likely get worse than it might have and that WILL be his fault.  At the moment he is hell bent to do just that demonstrated by such dangerous political moves as contradicting his own health officials at a press event, demoting a top level health official who pointed out defficiences in the government handling of infected citizen evacuated from the cruise ship, and by decreeing all statements from NHI and CDC and other health experts, who follow science facts rather than political needs, must be vetted and approved by a politician...Mike Pence!  That my friend is subgugating a completely non-political issue to politics and it is playing with fire in the worst way and if the Trumpistas don't see it for what it is the problem is compounded!

Archie, funny how selective you are about this kind of criticism.  Tell, who did Obama appoint as the Ebola Response Coordinator back in 2014?  Share with us your posted concerns about his expertise.  Let us know about his medical background and experience dealing with deadly infection diseases.  

At least Trump didn't appoint Pence to shake down Ukraine to protect his son's honey pot.  Appointing the VP to spearhead this is exactly the right thing to do.  There are two people in gov't that are called Sir or Madam and that is POTUS and VPOTUS.  When they call they get a response and results.  This is a management job by someone that can marshall the resources of the government and Pence is a fine choice.

As for your point about the CDC, the woman in question was contradicted by her own superior at CDC.  She is a political operative that was trying to damage the administration by fear mongering.  Look her up, do a little research and you'll understand what I mean.
