The Trump Coronavirus team tells us to all wash our hands every chance we get, wipe down our phones, computer keyboards, counters and even gasolene fill spouts, and to practice ''Social distancing'' specifically advising us little folks to maintain a 6' distance between each individual.  Then why day after day does this group have a press briefing with anywhere from 8 to 15 participants (most of whom do not utter a word) crammed shoulder to shoulder sharing a platform and the same microphone?  Andrew Cuomo has a press briefing with each participant seated behind a table separated by 6+' and individual microphones.  Not only did the Cuomo briefing offer actual useful information rather than self congratulations, but it also sent the visuals that are in keeping with what we are all supposed to be doing.

Today's news conference was actually the first one I have seen in it's broadcast entirety.  It was an exemplary conference with individuals present who provided me with accurate information, insight and planning.  What I would like to see us get back to is having the media state loudly their name and press affiliation before asking their question so that all of America can tie the absolutely worthless questions  with the respective networks.  How is taking time at a national healthcare news conference to ask if Trump's Hotels have taken a hit important to me and my family as we make decisions about our future behaviour.  What absolute horses as@es alot of these younger press representatives were.  Where was the A team?  These briefings are important and provide some degree of optimism and yet I have to listen to a CNN rep ask if Trump still felt guilty about not being prepared?  Are these millenials serious?  Is their ideology and political persuasion so important that they selfishly feel that they and their questions are more important than using their airtime to benefit the average American tuning in for vital applicable information.  Needless to say, I was disgusted with most of what I witnessed from the press.

I was not impressed with Trump's performance but it was certainly and improvement over yesterday and most earlier briefings.  That being said, you have made a point of explaining how you and those around you are taking precautions in regards the health emergency. Perhaps I am too optimistic, but I assume that includes all the recommendations from the very group on the platform.  If so, do you have any problem at all with the example set at these briefings where nobody seems to have even heard what they are telling all the rest of us to do as a minimum?  Are you in any way disturbed by Trump giving the rah rah all is well and good comments followed by Dr Fauci basically correcting the misinformation just uttered (mixed message when straight talk needed?).  The reporters are often asses but do you not agree that Trump's caustic, petty and angry responses plays directly into their hands.  I do not know whether you heard Cuomo's Briefing, but if you did I think, being a well educated and reasonable professional you would have to admit that even if you disagreed with what he said (honestly as a reasonable person I doubt in truth you would) do you not agree that he at least set a better example of how to run the briefing under the circumstances?

is on the hot seat.  He is very concerned about the situation and hopes to stay around to try to help, but he also knows if he gets on Trump's bad side he is as good as gone.  What the he!! do you think he is going to say even when he knows the reality is that Trump is full of it.  The good doctor very diplomatically corrected Trump at least 3 times yesterday!  Dr Fauci has been concerned since early Jan and has been expressing that concern in an urgent but gentle way so as to avoid panic whereas Trump was completely unconcerned (''We only have 15 cases and soon we will have none'') until the day after the stock market went in the crapper...that finally got his attention because he knew his richest backers were finally waking up!  Every person on this forum including you knows what the facts are but many (including you?) are too blinded by politics to recognize it.

We all need to be optismistic but we also need to know the facts about the situation and with this president that often requires a ''gotcha moment'' to reveal the true facts!  It would be wise if Trump could learn that by caustic and smart axx answers to gotcha questions is simply making the dangerous divisions in this country worse.  This president has been claiming for 3 weeks that everybody who needs a test is getting it...that is not the true situation unless an awful lot of healthcare givers in red and blue states are lying.  Are you saying that all the grunts in the trenches are lying and the Generalissimo in his behind the lines retreat is as pure as the driven snow? 

Just for fun, do you trust Dr. Fauci and believe he is being truthful in his analysis of the situation?  If you had to guess who do you think Fauci voted for in 2016?  Who do you think he will support this year?
