Based on a large number of articles I've read recently it appears that there is an internal revolt brewing over the allegations by Tara Reade against Creepy Uncle Joe.  We have morphed from an embargo by the media to the run of the mill "Republicans pounce" headlines to a lot of discussion about Biden having to directly address the allegations and open up the records from the time he was in the Senate.  When you have the NYT denying that they absolved Biden to the WaPo editorial board telling him he can no longer remain silent you know there's a problem.  Add to that a lot of contemporaneous corroboration, including her Mom's call to the Larry King show (which you can no longer find on Youtube...surprise, surprise), etc....

I suspect the talking points his campaign sent out were the straw that broke the camel's back.  Not to mention the Hollyweird types that started the whole #metoo and #believeallwomen movements are being called out for their abject hypocrisy.  There are signs they are beginning to buckle.  Didn't help to have Biden's telecronference endorsement call with the queen of sexual abuse apologists and facilitators.  If you haven't seen it I suggest you watch the first 30 seconds of awkward silence and confusion.  That was the highlight of the call.  Biden looked like he was falling asleep several times and it was awkward to say the least.  He might as well have an endorsement call with Jeffery Dahmer......if he were still alive......heck, maybe if he though he's dead.  Add to that him having Chris "Waitress Sandwich" Dodd on his VP search committee.  Talk about being tone deaf.  And his putative VP options have gone from defending him to syaing no comment.  Tsk, tsk.....not looking good.

He probably promised to keep her $24K fridge full of expensive ice cream.  She is such a buffoon....they all are.  #metoo and #believeallwomen until its an allegation against a Democrat and then they are apparently all liars and we need due process.  The sad thing is the next Republican that is similarly accused they will be right back on the Kavanaugh-style bandwagon without a smidgen of angst over their abject hypocrisy.

I know you so well.......so Biden and Trump are both prone to unwanted sexual advances.  Takes that issue off the table for the election so we've got that going for us. And his poor female VP running mate will have to explain herself.....assuming she is asked.

It's official, Trump has now been asked by the media about the allegations more than Biden has been asked about them (not to mention and before he was asked.  And his response was pure gold...brilliant...and puts the Biden campaign and the media in a complete box.  He said, "I think he should respond. You know, it could be false accusations. I know all about false accusations. I've been falsely charged numerous times and there is such a thing."  He then went on to remind the interviewer about the false allegations about Kavanaugh.

Simply brilliant.......now queue Goofy not understanding why this was brilliant.

If there was a statement filed, you can be sure it is long gone.  Biden would have had enough influence to have it plucked.  I'm rather skeptical about women that come out of the woodwork years later - just as they did with Trump, to say a sexual assault took place.  I think it is usually either politically motivated or perhaps something that was something they expected to gain and it just never materialized.  Biden is a touchy feely guy.  I worked with a guy when I was starting my career who was touchy feely.  He'd come up behind me and massage my shoulders, but he would do the same with 60 year old woman in our office too.  He meant nothing by it.  

It has been interesting how the Pussy Hats and the Me-too-ers, and the Time's up people have been silent.  Where are the calls by Nancy P for investigations.  This is the thing that really annoys me - if it's wrong, then it is wrong and it should be investigated.  If there is nothing to it, then let it go.  

I thought Trump was very even handed in his response.
