I love the way he always lies and says everything will be paid for by taxes on 1%.  Mike Bloomberg nailed him on this during the last debate.  He told Bernie that it was clear that everyone's taxes would be going up and if he wants wants to tax the 1% and rich corporations then they need to rewrite the tax code.  I personally can't stand the old man.  He's a millionaire and he's the savior of the poor and disenfranchised and workers everywhere???  Yeah, right.

This is what people need to know about taxing the wealthy. It was tried in the '80's in Florida and after losing boat building and aircraft manufacturing was repealed in 6 mos. (those jobs never came back). The wealthy simply move to more hospitable places and take thier assest with them. In south Florida my market was upscale renovations (Trump Towers). I was recession proof for many years because my customers were the 1% and never slowed down. When Obama got elected it was like the faucet was shut off. I was always booked a year in advance and could pick and choose my next pojects then all of the sudden all I got were cancellations and promises starts after another election. 2012 I had 4 projects lined up when it looked like Obama would be outed. The week after the election all were cancelled. Pwople need to understand you cannot impose onerous taxes on people that can simply leave. Just look at NY. NJ, Ca.

I think that is true.  These are young adults who don't have anything, don't have good paying jobs, and have never paid any real taxes.  It's also a generation that has had everything handed to them by their parents, so continued freebies sounds like the way to go.  They are the ones that "followed their bliss" in their college studies and now can't find a good paying job with a philosophy or archeological degree.

I didn't watch the interview but did see some clips.  He literally has no idea how much all these freebies cost and how the rich will never pay for them even if they had enough money.....which they do not.  He is economically illiterate which is why he seems to appeal to people who are likewise economically illiterate.  As Bastiat said, "Government is that fiction by which everyone lives at the expense of everyone else."  Nothing new under the sun here and if he is the nominee the contrast could not be any more stark.  The scary question is just how many Democrats will vote for a socialist because they dislike Trump.  Cutting off your nose to spite your face is not the way to go.  But even more sad, Bernie would already have over 170 electoral college votes locked in even before the election is held.  I do not hold with those that think he will lose in a 49-state landslide.  They wildly underestimate what the education system has done over the last 30 years.

If Trump would just shut up and stop tweeting between now and when the serious election campaiging starts it wold help greatly.  The things that he says at his rallies and of course get reported is hurting him much more than helping him.  It's not his base he has to worry about.

I'm torn on the tweeting.  It needs to be more strategic and well thought out if he is going to use it.  But it is his connection to people and the way he gets around the media filter.  But it causes him all sorts of problems.  As for his events, that is what these are for.  They are for the enthusiastic supporters.  All candidates do this with those that come are getting what they want.
