Do yourself a favor and get rid of your Attwood or Mercury outboard external fuel lines. Go to Napa and get some real fuel line and make your own. I have been battling an idling issue with my outboard all summer and it turns out the fuel line liner deteriorated and was causing a blockage in the line. Check out the attached picture of what was in the fuel line and gas tank. This was not even half of it.

Was there alcohol in the fuel?
Never put Obamahol in a boat. It is the source of all miseries.
I agree the fuel lines should tolerate alcohol.

Why would you combine the lake with anything that cannot tolerate alcohol?

What Dealer are you using for annual Maintanance? They should have corrected that WAY before that problem even occured.
