So many posters, ably lead by MM, have whooped and hollared and screamed bloody murder about ''election fraud'' and ''stealing elections'' for weeks leading to and following the mid term vote.  So now we have actual strong evidence of an actual theft of an election in the NC Cong Didtrict 9 and a criminal investigation underway but there is universal silence from those folks who were so worked up!  What gives?  Oh, excuse my talking out of turn...it was a theft of a seat for a Republican by Republicans.  So sorry, no foul, carry on.

I have not observed MM "raging".  Now he might express an opinion, even give facts, but never to the point of rage.  wix, on the other hand, is a different situation. I am still not 100% convinced that wix isn't an alter ego of Goofy.  Far too many GF posts immediately answered by "wix", and like GF, wix declines to enter into off-forum dialogue.  And wix answers, especially on informational posts, are written in the same style as GF. Wix could convince me he isn't GF with a simple email but he refuses...wonder why?

Outrage?  I try not to let anger guide my responses to postings.  I endeavor not to sift through the mass of mainstream opinion which passes itself off as news… in order to discover and attempt to validate out of context snipets. 

If one takes the time to read an entire article… and then make a reasonable and intelligent evaluation… one can usually come to consent or dissent… agreement or disagreement.

I have a very definite and reasonable opinion as to how legitimate elections should go… but then, there are those who quibble... with disproportionate passion… about disenfranchisement of inappropriate voters.

we're still looking for those 30,000 ++ misssing emails; could they possibly be in one of those many hidden but suddenly discovered ballot boxes in FLA< Chicago, Calif., Ga.  ? Possibly if Jimmy Carter had been monitoring the ballot boxes you refer to instead of flying off to Brazil with 2 doctors, 2 nurses, 6 Secret Service, on a Govt plane, at our expense to accept some silly award, the fraud you reference could have been averted ???

After reading about the quandry citizens of California find themselves in, re, ballot harvesting, limiting candidates to only top two primary spots despite party, etc etc, I find myself agreeing with the following regarding voting reform.  States can do what they want to do as long as it is constitutional, however, for Federal elections some degree of national consistency needs to occur.

1) Separate Federal voting rolls from State rolls
2) Voting rolls cleared/purged of all registered voters on March 1st following a Presidential inauguration.
3) Individuals must register in person and provide proof of citizenship and residence in order to register
4) Registration closed 30 days prior to an election
5) Mail in ballots only to those that request
6) No registration or voting allowed for those that are wards of the state (prisoners, mental ill, etc).
7) Drivers license change prompts an automatic notification of change of residence to the “losing” state and removal from their voting rolls.
8) No provisional ballots

Been in Atlanta area not far from Martini. Visited the old hood. Remember the shoe store on the corner....the old man passed and they are closing. Stopped by and spoke to the son...bought a few pair of sneakers.
