Tuned in to CNN today, hoping to get a break from Puerto Rico and Las Vegas, and I couldn't believe the gyrations and lies, and twists and turns those idiots were makin'.  Everything is Trump's fault....everything.......Maria....the killings in Vegas.....everything!!  They had some pea brained announcer on the street in Las Vegas telling the world how Trump was screwing up PR.  The lack of truth, no integrity, total BS these haters were spouting was unbelievable.....watched for a couple of hours until I couldn't take anymore.  GEEZ.....

Wonder where our three liberal idiot musketeers are?  Guess they haven't been issued any new material from liberal idiot headquarters....

I doubt copper will be back. I'm pretty sure he knows that I know who he is now. I came to find out that I actually grew up with him although he is a few years older than me. We know the same people, went to the same school even. But the real coincidence I will save for a later date. He is known as a liberal and a weirdo going back to high school. I let him know ow I was on to him when I called him a libtartt. I would bet he is still lurking though. It feeds his ego to come here so he can feel so superior to us deplorables. Isn't it strange that our three sanctimonious liberals love to preach at us about what awful people conservative/Republicans are, yet protect and hide their identity while most of the regulars here are well known to each other. If one truly believes his ideas are superior one would think they would be proud to stand up and be identified.

So how about it copper, you gonna come back and play?

Puerto Rico was bankrupt before the storm--what do you do with an island  when you know this will probably hit again in the future

I don't think Trump had his best moment in his trip to PR.  But, I agree with him in principle about PR.  The USG is doing everything it can to help them - but the island is deeply in debt (Trump said today that the banks will need for forgive $72M), the infrastructure of the island, i.e. roads, electrical grid, building codes were in disrepair when the storm hit, so it was no surprise the hurricane took them out.  I believe that PR believes we should rush in and rebuild their island for them.  Some of the stuff they have demanded was totally uncalled for - like the Navy hospital ship, which is supposed to provide hospital services to the military.  Right now, 99% of the hospitals in PR are up and running - so why do they need that?  FEMA is there in force, they've got the guy that directed things after Katrina, and they are just going to have to be patient.  Their problems will not be solved in two weeks, any more that the problems in Houston and Florida have been solved.  BTW, according to a news show I saw, they have having a hard time doing repairs to homes, because of a lack of skilled construction workers - carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons, because as well all know, the new generation thinks it is below them to learn a trade.  They would rather have desk jobs where they can complain how they are under utilized and not appreciated.

Trump should have gone there, told them how awful it is, told them that the USG would do everything it could, handed out some supplies and left.  But the press has been very unfair to Trump.  And don't forget the U.S. Virgin Islands were destroyed too, but so far they don't seem to be whining.
