Places where I have to show a photo ID:

At the Drs.

At the hopsital

when I cash a check at the bank

when I renew my concealed carry permit

when I check into a hotel

Sometimes in the store

I'm sure there is more that is not immediately coming to mind.  So why I am I supposed to get upset if they ask me for a photo ID to vote?  Jesse Jackson and others liken this requirment to a poll tax.... I don't get it. 

National Women's Day.  The public schools in Alexandria VA had to close because 300 women associated with the school system asked for the same day off  "a day without a woman", so they could demonstrate.  What does a demonstraion accomplish.  Kids in that school system will miss a day of education, because it is more important to demonstrate than to be the educator they claim to be.  I'm trying to think what rights women have lost.  Most men I know support equal pay.  Whether Roe v. Wade survives will not be decided in the streets but in courts. Paid maternity leave?  Should be left to the individual companies. 

Threats to Jewish Centers and Temples?  Kim Jung IL missiles getting close to Japan - are we headed for a nuclear war?

ive been banking with the same bank since 1991; i have 4 accounts there--recently i drove up to make a $200.00 deposit ( no cash back) & was asked for DL; the check i was depositing was drawn on the same bank !! did i proptest--burn a building--march on 280 & block traffic ???

All this crap about an "ID" is assinine. Just yesterdy I had to show my ID to get on base at Maxwell, again when I went to the Commissary, again when I went into the Base Exchange, again when I went into the Hospital to turn in a prescription, again when I went through the "drive through" to pick up my prescription, again when I went into the Bank to get a check cashed, again when I went into Sam's to get their #1.50 Hot Dog combo, again when I went to my Doctor's office to pick up some records to carry to another Doctor that he had referred me to, again when I paid for my new "license plates" with a check, and lastly when I went into Costco's to buy some groceries. At this rate I will have to buy a new wallet about every two months because of the wear and tear. The reason liberals keep harping about the requirement for an "ID" is because that's the only way they can keep the pot "boiling". If it's important enough for a person to vote, then get a "damn" ID Card. I dare say that most people actually have an ID or they couldn't function in today's society. Do people fail to go to the Doctor because they don't have an ID card? If I am not mistaken, I think they have to show their ID Card when they go to cash their Government Check.

It is part of the new Trump's Travel Ban to remove illegals. Quit complaining. Ypu are going to have to show  ID to pee to keep out transgenders. So, get used to it. You complain too much...like an old lady. Try and be positive.

Government checks now mostly go out as debit cards.  They may or may not need ID when they sign up but after that any request for it is racist. 

Dripping with sarcasm if you didnt get it - 

Easiest solution is a national voter ID card, maybe something Trump can get moving before the 2018 election.

As usual, you had to turn things 180 degrees to put your "slant" on things and blame President Trump. Again, you chose to accuse me of complaining when that was not the case at all and you know it. Don't try to tell me that if someone is "serious" about voting, they can get an ID Card or as I said earlier probably already have one in order to function in todays society. The whole issue centers around keeping the ID issue in the forefront to be able to claim discrimination. Case in point, I was also in my local post office yesterday which is serviced by one black postmaster. At the time there was an elderly black lady who appeared to be in her eighties who was getting a money order for which she had to show her ID. During this time the three of us got into a cordial conversation when she commented to him that she "always" liked to pay her bills. Since there was no one else in the post office, the three of us started talking about our kids and grandkids and about them remembering Mother's day and birthdays, etc. we spent a pleasant few minutes together just reminicising. Point being, if you must have an ID to conduct almost any kind of business, why shouldn't you be required to have an ID to exercise one of your most sacred rights guaranteed by the Constiturion?

I understand how most government payments are received, but I do think they would been rewuired to have some form of ID in the beginning. I agree with you about a National Voting ID Card just the same as yuo have a Security Card.

You never know these days - at some point in the past few years it has become racists to have to show id or proof you were born in the US.

Recently helped to get someone to the DMV for a learners permit.  

Alabama document requirements:

• Provide 2 documents proving identification. The state provides a full list of accepted documents, but note the following:
  • 1 document must contain a photograph.
  • If you do not have an ID with a photo, you'll need to provide 3 documents proving identification.
  • Regardless of whether you present a photo ID, you must show proof of ID from the primary list.
    • Examples include: U.S. passport, U.S. birth certificate, resident alien card, etc.
• Provide proof of your Social Security number (e.g., your Social Security card or W-2 tax form).
• Proof of school enrollment or graduation.

Talk about descrimination, have to prove who you are, where your from, prove you are in school, maybe next will be the PisserID that GFY wants.

I made a comment about this on FB - that it was no big deal to have to show a photo ID to vote since I have to show it everywhere else and I was too my "priviledge" was showing.  If everyone has to show a picture ID, we can put an end to all this voter fraud discussion.
