Before you get too righteous on us with your bluster about the Donald......who I do not wish to win the nom.....let's remember who it is you are in love with to continue this disaster of an administration.

Staff attorney, Hilliary R 27 yrs old, for the House Judiciary Committee investigating  Watergate was fired by her boss Jerry Zeifman a life long Dem.

When asked why she was fired Zeifman said in a interview, "Because she was a liar. She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer, she conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the Committee, and the rules of confidentiality"

Now go ahead and make yourself into a pretzel and tell me specifically which of these characteristics you like that makes her your choice for the Dem nomination......

You may not remember what was happening during the Watergate scandal, but Clinton was (along with the rest of us) taking the matter pretty seriously.    She was a zealous young lawyer who got fired, and obviously by an extremely angry boss... but I don't see a scandal there.    I assure you that during that time, Nixon's lawyers would have made much of any wrong-doing by committee operatives investigating his administration.   Since they did not, I assume this story is much ado about nothing.

Tricky Dick was grasping at straws and would have made it a major stink if there was any there there.  Even if what her boss said was correct rather than merely blather it WAS 40 years ago.  When the late goody-two-shoes congressman Henry Hyde (R of course) had to confirm the story that he had an affair resulting in an "illigitimate" child he justified as an old man's "youthful indescretion 40 years ago".

Wait until the Democrats start to point out the Donalds "youthful indescretions od a few weeks ago".  I suspect they will make any lies or truths they spread about Hillary look lame.

You have a weak argument.   Getting fired during those times didn't end anything, the sides were engaged in a no-holes barred legal war.      Archibald Cox was fired.   

You can google that name for details of what happened next.   It was a long time ago.
