I believe that the Uptown Funk dance routine was already choreographed for the video.  Hey, at least they didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions. Cold Play didn't do much, just as I expected.

My only comment is that it was colorful and appropriate for San Francisco.

Well, at least Lady GaGa didn't wear a meat dress.  I thought she did a great job with the national anthemn, but I thought the red glitter eye shadow left her looking a bit space alien-ish.

And I thought the retrospective part of the Half Time show was a bit confusing.  I don't know if it made more sense in the stadium.

With regard to GaGa, she has a fantastic voice.  I dint understand why she feels the need to do all that "crazy stuff"

Well, from what I am reading this afternoon, Beyonce was making a political statement based on her song, and that she is speaking to the Black Racial Struggle.  And here I thought that was solved with the Equal Rights Amendment .  Rudolph Guiani felt that she was endorsing violence against police by wearing bullets.  Apparently there is a new video that makes these things clearer.

And don't comments on Cam Newton's behavior at the press conference.  Because if you do, you are one of those white people who don't get it.

Sheeh!  I just thought is was a fairly boring game, with some weird commercials, a so-so half time show and bad sportmanship at a press conference.

I am sorry he left the press conference.  I think it points out that his maturity as a professional lags his maturity as a football player.  That being said, there was another presser going on with a Denver defender within earshot of the Newton Interview, and the Bronco player basically said their game plan was to flood the box and make Carolina pass.  You might equate it to piling on and Newton reacted badly.  Even the Bronco defender roundly criticized the NFL for putting the two of them so close together.

Bottom line though, is that the millions these guys are paid dictate they take the bad with the good.  He should have sucked it up, no matter how distasteful the experience.

I agree.  He was just named MVP for 2015 and Offensive Player for 2015.  He could have said "I'm sorry we lost; I'm sorry I let my team down, I'm sorry, I don't feel like I can take a lot of question right now."  Instead he copped an attitude, stalked off and today said he didn't want to have an emotional breakdown in pubic.

But it was a game, and in a game, one team wins and one team loses.  If he can't handle losing then he needs to hire someone to teach him how to act when he loses.  And maybe the NFL shouldn't have press conferences with the lossing team right after the loss.  Maybe they should wait until the next day.  The winners, no doubt, will have plenty to say about the win to fill up the air time.

The short clip that they have on facebook, etc shows just the end of the Cam Newton interview.  Below is the full text of the espn interview.  More than just a couple of questions and he was short and terse.  He should not have walked out like he did but what is being shown does not do justice.  I have heard Saban and Belichek as short and terse.

As I posted on facebook.....The Carolina Panthers needed Sandra Bullock!

What's your message to Panthers fans?
"We'll be back."

[Carolina coach] Ron [Rivera] said Denver two years ago had a tough time and they bounced back. Do you take that to heart?
"No."

Can you put a finger on why Carolina didn't play the way it normally plays?
"Got outplayed."

Is there a reason why?
"Got outplayed, bro."

Was it pretty much what you had seen on film from Denver? Anything different they put in for this game?
"Nothing different."

Do we sometimes forget that defenses can still take apart the offenses in this game?
"No."

What did Ron Rivera say after the game?
"He told us a lot of things."

Anything in particular that was memorable?
"Nope."

Obviously you're disappointed. On the biggest stage it's difficult, I know.
[nods head]

Did you see anything that you didn't expect tonight?
"They just played better than us. I don't know what you want me to say. They made more plays than us, and that's what it comes down to. We had our opportunities. It wasn't nothing special that they did. We dropped balls, we turned the ball over, gave up sacks, threw errant passes. That's it. They scored more points than us."

Can you put into words the disappointment you feel right now?
"We lost."

Did Denver change anything defensively to take away your running lanes?
"No."

I know you're disappointed not just for yourself, but for your teammates. It's got to be real tough.
[shakes head] "I'm done, man."

That should be mandatory viewing/reading for all politicians as the way questions and press conference's should be  handled. Not the walking out part but answer the question honestly and succinctly without bloviating and preening for the camera.

I am willing to give the guy a break, after all he is in the midst of what is most likely the most dissapointing moment of his life. I read he walked off to avoid breaking down in front of the world. Could just be good spin but like I said, I would cut anybody a break in his circumstance.

I think the issue for Cam was he went into this game 100% sure they were going to crush Denver.  I also think that since it was their first trip to the Super Bowl they were not nearly as prepared for the distractions and the media circus.  Denver was better prepared and he was still in shock over having lost.  It is a fine line between preparing how you are going to handle yourself if you lose and never letting the thought of losing enter your mind.  With more maturity let's hope he is better prepared to handle the press after a loss like this.

What struck me more than his press conference was when he didn't go for the fumble as the ball was sitting on the ground.  When I saw that I knew they were done and he had stopped leading.  That will haunt him way more than his press conference.  To me that looked really bad.

if you live by the sword, you die by the sword.

It's hard to sympathize with Newton since he spent the entire season taunting opponents, dancing in the end zone, acting in as unsportsmanlike manner as he possibly could.  It would be suiting if he loses all his advertising endorsements.  Meanwhile, Denver didn't even need a quarterback in that game.  Seems to me the Jags read too many news articles about themselves and how great they were before the game....call it a classic case of the BIGHEAD.

Wix, I have to agree with you.  I was pulling for Denver because I am an AFC guy but also I could not stomach an entire year of nonstop Cam Newton commercials (which we will probably get anyway).  I am still sick of Aaron Rogers commercials.  And I also hate the dancing in the end zone or after some good play.  I especially hate it when a defensive back makes a big hot or tackle 30 yards down the field and dances around and celebrates like he should be happy with having given up a big play.  I always prefer the Walter Payton model of slowly getting up, handing the ball to the referee and walking back to the huddle after a great run.  Don't know if it was him or some other player when he was asked why he didn't celebrate more he said, "Why should I celebrate for doing my job?  I expect to do that every time I get the ball".  All in all it highlghts a lack of human formation.  Nothing wrong with celebrating but the dancing, taunting and other stuff really drives me crazy.

You are spot on about the fumble.  Game changer possibility there.  If he gets that ball, they punt, they hold, they were down only six.  Now scoring against that unbelievable Denver defense....that's another matter.  He should have recovered the fumble!

You are right.  The short clip doesn't give the full picture. And today he said he wasn't sorry, that's just how I am."  Can't believe his arrogance.
