Just wondering if any of you folks that are lucky enough to live at the lake would be interested in an approximately six month old cute as can be kitty. The reason I am asking Lake Martin dwellers is because this cat has spent his entire young life at the lake and he loves being around the water more than any cat I have ever seen. Some SORRY folks that were renting a trailer up in the end of our slough were either thrown out or just left in the past week or so and they didn't bother to take their kitten with them. So we have it. He will walk out on the floating pier and get in the boat, he will lay down on the pier and look down at the water. We even saw the people that he belonged to with him out on a float in the water. He has a great personality and is really cute. We will be glad to have him neutered if someone would be willing to take him. We have two dogs and a very jealous cat and just don't need another one right now. If interested please call Steve at 205-966-9704 or respond here and we can get together. Sorry post is soo long!!!

He sounds like a wonderful kitty. I wish I could take him, but I've already got 5 cats and 2 dogs. I hope you can find him a home. I hate when people abandon their pets.

I thought you were calling me out! I'll ask around. I have a small litter of 4 now that just turned 4 weeks old. If I took your cat, I'd probably have to live in the shop.

I understand and I know that finding somone to take him is a long shot but I thought is would be worth a try.
What I would really like to do is get a hold of the folks that left him to fend for himself. I could teach them a lesson or two!!

Please give the little one a chance.I posted here several months ago about a young dog that was starving. Brought it home, had it spayed and emailed a picture to everyone I knew. A kind family saw the picture. There was a happy ending and she has a wonderful home with a great family. Wish I could help but already have four critters. Thanks for giving it a chance.

Don't worry, we will keep him if we don't find a worthy owner. We took him back to the lake with us this weekend and he had a ball. He is at home at the lake but we aren't fulltimers yet!!!

I don't think I mentioned before but he is the most calm cat I have ever seen in a cat carrier. Most I have been around can't stand being in one. He just lays down and goes to sleep until we get to the lake or back home never hear a peep out of him.
