Came back to our cabin after about a ten day absence and the water looks like weak tea.  I have two separate feeds from the street and both were yellow.   Any one else witness this?

Also, about 7:30 our Charter TV feed started pixelating, although it cleared up pretty quickly. Could be related to the number of users but one would think early January is not exactly a high use time of year.....lol

Getting some pixalation (msp) on Troy Cable as well.  Must be cold weather

On water we have having no problem EXCEPT that it is cold. I know my water heater is working overtime

May be from not using water for awhile.  stuff does settle in bottom of pipes.

Why do you have TWO feeds?

Actually one pipe from the street but two feeds into the cabin.  One to the plumbing in the old cabin, another to the plumbing in the addition.  Plan is to hook the old plumbing to the new feed and remove the extra water heater but that is just something else deferred by my 30 months of (apparently unsuccessful) swamp-draining efforts.

As far as the Charter problem - I finally called them and had a technician come out.  The problem was at the pole outside - simply put, it wasn't getting the signal strong enough on both our internet and our TV.  They came and did their thing and haven't had a problem since.

Now that I have the leisure time available to spend more time up here I may call them as well.  And the dirty water issue finally resolved itself. Being near the end of the line apparently offers the " opportunity" to observe that rust, like "stuff" flows downhill.
