No review yet..only got the menu. Menu looks good, prices look OK. They got burger baskets $5-$8, Sandwiches  $6-$8, Salads for the skinny girlies $6. , Pancakes, all kinds of breakfast items.
And they have "The Big Who" burger basket $7.79 (if that's what I saw on the grill it's big). I hope the menu is not too big but we'll see what they are capable of. Hope springs eternal.

Went there this morning.  I had eggs and they were fine, although possibly a little greasy.  Also a biscuit that might have been made on premises. Hashbrowns of the frozen variety, but they were crispy.  Feb had pancakes which he does not recommend.  Gummy, and probably made from a mix.
They had various egg dishes on the menu, pancakes, various breakfast sandwiches.  Prices were reasonable

Everything seemed a bit sticky -- the table, some jelly left on the seat, handle on the syrup jar.  The service was very good, the waitress was very nice.  Coffee was hot and plentiful. Out of a possible 5 stars, I'd give it a 2 1/2.  Probably won't go back unless in a pinch.

Had lunch. Service was very good and food came promptly. Definately a noch above the Huddle-Waffle folks. Burger was good. Baskets looked plentiful. Good tea. Prices seemed about right. You got your $6 stuff and if you want to go at it you got your $8 stuff. Everybody at our table was happy. This is not an upscale diner with $10 hamburgers but they seem to fill a nich. Not "Diner's Drive-ins & Dives" chic but much nicer than awful-Waffle.  Clean, 100 health dept score.

Rumit has it that it is owned by the same people that own the Huddle House on 280 in AC.  The new diner was completely gutted from the old place, so everything is clean and new.  In fairness, we were there a bit later in the morning, and it is entirely likely that they had an earlier morning rush and had not had the time to clean everything up.
It is definitely filling a niche, judging by how busy it is.

I'm not surprised. When I first looked around the set-up looked like they knew what they were doing. Wonder if we can ease them into fried chicken and waffles :-)

I have to respectfully disagree with you on Waffle House. I love it.  There are good ones and bad ones, of course.

I like them too for some things. the term "Afful-Waffle" has been around awhile. I was just trying to give my perspective on the diner restaurants. The culture of WH employees has been studied before. It's really interesting. They don't make much money but become attached to the sense of family within the employee group. Probably a good sociological study.
