So let's take a walk back in history shall we?  I seem to recall candidate Dementia Joe saying anyone who can't get the pandemic under control shouldn't continue as President.  I also have the receipts where Dementia Joe had a 19-point plan to defeat the Wuhan ChiCom Fauci virus and get the economy roaring.  Finally, I have proof that the addle-brained fool stated repeatedly that if you got the jab you wouldn't get the virus and your life could get back to normal.  To paraphrase a famous line from True Grit, that's mighty bold talk for a half-brained dimwit.

So where are we today?  The third wave of the pandemic is on with a new variant that was caused by mass vaccinations in the middle of a pandemic as predicted by epidemeologists that actually follow the science and Dementia Joe does not appear to want to follow his own statement and resign.  Inflation is at a 30-year high, gasoline is well over $3 per gallon, black and Hispanic unemployment is once again the worst of all ethnic groups, the supply chain is a disaster, Brandon ignored the advice of his team and did nothing to get home virus tests out before the cold and flu season started, etc.  Pretty much a FUBAR all around.

And for the coup de gras, Dementia Joe told the Governors that they are pretty much on their own as there is no Federal solution to the pandemic.  Meanwhile the fascist Fauci is all over TV saying one thing while NIH/CDC/WHO/other govts are saying something else.  And his pivot since he threw in the towel?  Why it's voter suppression and "fair" elections of course.  Soon to be interspersed with allegations of racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, etc.  Since they know 2022 is going to be a disaster because they have failed at pretty much everything they are going to spend all of 2022 blaming it on unfair election laws that actually require real, live U.S. citizens to show proof of who they are to vote in a secure election free of ballot stuffing and dead people voting.

Then they threw out the press, took a few questions from the Governors and the old fool called it a day and went to the beach.  But hey...no mean tweets, right?

And now, since we are in desparate need of workers (TSA, ticket counter, supply and others) we change the quarantine requirment to get them back on the job faster.  Where is the Science that showed the previous was good, and where is the science to show the new lesser restrictions now work?

Maybe because the new ???variant??? is the common cold with a lingering cough!

You win the award for recognizing what Omicron actually is.  It's the common cold which...gasp....surprise, surprise, happens every cold and flu season.  We are already hearing from doctors in South Africa where Omicron was first detected that the symptoms are the same as the common cold and they were shocked at the over reaction of other countries to the common f'ing cold.  The panic porn about this is completely obscene.

I wonder if Archie still thinks Biden is doing a pretty good job.  Seems now that Biden has been exposed as a tremendous fraud Archie has all but disappeared from the forum.  Have to admit I don't miss his rants about how evil a person DJT is.  Wonder if he will come back foaming at the keyboard should DJT again become POTUS....

One of numerous very good reasons I have him on ignore.  Based on your post I can assume he is AWOL.  Can't say that I blame him. 

And of course, in one day New York City accounted for 30% of all positive cases in the US and what was the govt media headlines?  Why of course, that Florida had a record number of new cases.  One city accounts for almost a third of all new cases and their focus is on FLorida.  Utter corruption and the enemy of the people.  As best I can tell Goofy is the only left wing nut to post here anymore.....and his are always about a guy that hasn't been President for almost a year.  TDS is such an insidious mental illness.

Also, another study in the European Journal of Epidemeology confirmed a prior study in Israel that natural immunity is far superior and much longer lasting than the faux vaccines.

And now we have Emperor Fauci single handedly reducing the quarantine time to 5 days because, well, science.  He is a disgrace and a mass murderer and if the GOP gets control of the House in 2022 they are going to prove it with an investigation into gain of function research that NIH funded along with their refusal to approve effective treatment regimes that could have reduced the deaths from the virus by as much as 85%.

What I find more interesting than his COVID pivots is that he never mentions Russia, never mentions that the Chinese are helping the Saudis build a nuclear reactor - it's like the rest of the world just don't matter to him.  He never talks about immigration.  He is not talking about student debt relief and he seems to have thrown in the towel on BBB.

Starting to read about negative stories focused squarely on competence, or lack thereof, in the Biden admin.  Is it any wonder?  Even when the guy had all his faculties he was dumb as a rock and wrong on pretty much every foreign and domestic issue.  Now that his brain barely works they somehow expected "competence"?!?!?  GTFOH govt media.  You provided a big assist in getting this disaster elected along with brain dead liberals and college educated women who thought Trump was a meanie with his tweets.  When you vote based on emotion and can't see the facts right in front of your face (i.e., the guy hid in his basement the entire campaign) you have no room to complain.  I and tens of millions of others however did see what was coming, did vote using facts, logic and reason and do plan to complain, criticize and ostrascize.

I didn't provide any assist in getting him elected.  I knew he would be a disaster.  I really felt like we were between a rock and a hard place.  Trump has jumped the shark and Biden is an idiot.  That's why I am amandate now that we need younger and new candidates.  We need to move away from the old people, the retreads.  I have no desire to see Trump run again - he was on the right track with his policies, but his actions were out of control and more and more often he was playing to the far right.

Like you I would prefer that Trump not run in 2024.  He is too polarizing and lacks the discipline to not turn off independent voters.  I personally really like Ron Desantis as he has the same instincts about what animates people and is far better at messaging and dealing with a hostile press.  I do not want to see RINOs like Romney, Christie, et al as they will lose, even to Biden should he somehow stick it out.  I will be grabbing the popcorn if he bows out because the Dem primary is going to be a socialist love fest and whoever they nominate will be objectionable to a majority of Americans. 

But I can assure you if Trump does run and does get the nomination I will vote for him without hesitation.  As bad as his bad side was it pales in comparison to what we currently are experiencing.

Hound-you mention student debt relief--not sure what you think he should do--but I am vehemently against any relief for those that incurred student loan debt--I put 3 through undergrad, Grad school & 1 through doctorate- ( in addition to 12 years of private school )-all my kids worked and paid back some--all paid off by us except $20k;-why should my -or your- tax money go to pay off someone elses kids debt--work, save & sacrifice like we did--and thankfully all 3 of mine have professional good paying jobs. If it happens, do I get my $500k refunded ? If there is any relief granted, it should be counted as income & taxed. Whats next ? waive credit card & auto  & mortgage debt ?

I am also vehemently against student debt relief.  I worked my way through college, working full time and going to school at night for both of my business degrees.    

I told a liberal the other day that was calling me out on another forum - if we have to have student debt relief, then I would propose student debt relief for those in STEM or Medical fields, because those are people we need - not on theatre, English, philosphophy, archeology, art, gender studies, Black stuidies.  The woman in the debate said that we need the others and that I was looking down on these.  My feeling is that it benefits our society to have more STEM and medical people.  I think these same standards should apply to immigration.  Those with skills we need should be allowed to legally immigrantation too.
