Is it OK to post ads in the forum or free classifieds if you are a paying sponsor of this site?

1. Yes
2. No
3. Depends on how much or how often
4. Who cares

3 - Doesn’t bother me, if kept to a minimum. There may be info someone might want. It can’t be any worse than much of the junk posted.

What was done to Lawn Expert was totally uncalled for.

Depends on how often. How many, etc... 3 This is starting to sound like "B*&@tch Day". Someone start a positive thread. And maverick is going down........

What happened to Lawn Expert was a direct result of his response and not so much his original post. I think he agrees.

I say 2 for the open Forum and 3 for the Free Advertising.

I don't really consider Cats response as an advertisement. Everyone on this forum ( most everyone ) knows what business Cat is in so he doesn't have to advertise to us. He has given more free advice and information on what to do about certain boat problems than he has solicited and then only stated that if " we " ran into problems to come see him.
Now take for instance " Anchor Bay Don ". He has also given advice and helpfull information when someone needed help ( people mostly looking for something free ). Ok my point is that just the implication of his handle could be construed as advertising.
So what's the problem? If I came out every day and told everyone if they needed a yard cut, wall built, peir repaired etec. then I think that there would be justice in a reprimand.
Just my opinion. Have a great lake day and peace.
