What happened to "global warming" is that they realized that the term was too vague, that there was a certain segment of the population that didn't have the intelligence to comprehend that "global warming" did NOT mean that "the entirety of the globe is constantly getting warmer by the second."

They're still trying to figure out how to explain things to anmother segment of the population, that percentage that is so incomprehensibly stupid that they don't know that there is a difference between "climate" and "weather." Sadly, thanks to the dumbing down of America, that percentage is actually growing instead of shrinking. So every day you become less super-special.

Case in point, just this weekend the democratic leader, AOC, declared the DC flooding on climate change instead of the slow moving thunderstorm that dumped all the rain. So when we have record cold in the winter does that mean we are experiencing global cooling?!?!?  Seriously Goofy, your scientific illiteracy is really shameful.  There has been very little warming of global climates over the last 20 years despite record levels of CO2.  Educate yourself, it will make a difference in your life.

And the Universe is expanding and no one knows why.  We think we know everything and we try to explain everything - but even scientists can't agree.  Are our weather patterns changing?  Yes.  What is causing it?  No one can agree and no one can say with 100% accuracy why things are changing.  We can scream science all we want, but the truth is there is still a lot of things we don't understand - we create hypotheses, and then try to explain why our explanation fits.  Some time "I don't know" is the only answer.

Didn't bother to click a single link. There has been so much fraud, corruption, and manupilation of the data for the last 20 years I believe very little published by NOAA, NWS, NASA and most universities.

Really, you have to use a little critical thought before you blindly post these things.  These are adjusted numbers and have already been debunked.  They completely removed the satellite data from the analysis because they did not show appreciable warming.  These were the very same satellites we were told by NOAA would eliminate land-based interference from heat sinks and other sources. In addition, I suggest you look at the adjustments made by NOAA to the USHCN data set since 1900.  All of the adjustments up to around 2002 were negative (i.e., cooler than measured) and all the adjustments since 2002 were positive (i.e., warmer than measured).  And the total adjustments since 1900 are 1.5 degC which amazingly is exactly how much warming NOAA claims to have occurred in the last century.  If you remove their amazingly coincidental 1.5 degC adjustments there has been exactly zero warming over the last century.

I would also note that the IPCC in 2013 noted the following:  "the rate of warming over the past 15 years … is smaller than the rate calculated since 1951." and IPCC "concluded that the global surface temperature 'has shown a much smaller increasing linear trend over the past 15 years [1998-2012] than over the past 30 to 60 years.'"  This result was refuted by a study by NOAA that a whistleblower claimed was based on fraudulent and manipulated data, data which was somehow lost when a computer died.

I know you slavishly believe anything from the government but I work with NOAA all the time.  They are not the best and brightest and they are politically motivated and have been caught several times fudging the numbers to get the result they want.  Do some research and stop wasting our time with faulty reports.  Sheesh.....
